How do you approach each urge you get to stray away from your road to success?

    I am looking to make a big accountability group for self-development. Most people are on nofap for some silly reason, but those who really want to improve themselves know that nofap will not make your life better alone. You need self -discipline, self-mastery and an abundant amount of desire for self development.

    When I felt pressure, i immediately conceded and allowed myself to panic and I subconsciously thought that because I am feeling pressure, I must give in. I did not embrace the pressure, but I allowed to control me. This is the key to success in nofap. It is all about the way in which you approach the pressure that comes from the road to self improvement and success. If you allow this pressure to consume you, you will panic. Panic is a dangerous emotional state to be in. When you are in panic you do a million mistakes and you end up regretting everything. This is why never approach your success emotionally. When I allowed myself to be consumed by the pressure and panic, my commitment decreased from 100 percent to 99 percent. If we were to approach pressure in a logical manner rather than an emotional one, we would be making wiser and more clear-headed decisions. For example, if you allow yourself to be controlled by pressure when you feel tension, pressure, and an urge to stray away from success, you will most certainly bow down to the pressure be enslaved to it. On the other hand, if you approach that urge in a logical manner, you will have more time to think about the causes of this pressure , and you will most likely make the right decision of using this energy or tension as a force for good. What this basically means is that you have to be very careful and attentive when you feel that sort of tensions and urge to seek instant gratification. Think about why you are feeling this pressure and use as fuel to success. Don’t throw away your gallon of gas, your protein shake. Today I almost relapsed because I allowed that pressure to consume me. If what I was looking for weren’t blocked, I would have probably fallen into that vicious cycle again.

  3. I believe this works in all areas of life too, not just sex. I'm going through a situation at the moment where panicking and giving into pressure could be an option, but if I did, I would stop trying to solve the problem.

    Meditation has been a huge leg up for me in training my mind to remember that even in worrisome situations there is always a blue sky calm available to us, a better place to make a decision from.
     
  4. Exit for a run/walk or with bike :) Guys don't edge it will not solve your urge, you will relapse or you will have Edging addiction. Refuse porn.
    We also use porn for solve/hidding our frustration, panic is normal, in my first recovery i had 3-4 panic attacks in 20 days, was my first time facing a panic attack. Just do something that can distract you.
