    It definitely does, especially meditation. I have to reset it in days i miss meditation
    (like today lol)
    Thank you so much ... I know the path is a rippled curve ... But i just wanna heal completely.. I just want a normal happy life so badly But with hardship there is ease.. And i have to try the best i can
    Ya it is . But one day it won't hurt and one day you wont remember.
    I think dopamine detox is helping me in productivity(as you know I was performing poorly in athens academy but no music, no youtube helped me in boosting productivity)

    Day 4,
    1)Meditation :
    None zero minutes result it is day 0 as expected.

    Ps_Actually I dont have pmo addiction..In fact i never watch p or even psubs I have problem with excessive fantasizing about disturbing stuff(kinda masochistic disorder which sucks really bad very bad)

    2) Physical activity..
    Cleaned my room, no cold showers no workout
    3) Spiritual
    Fajr prayer miss, rest prayers on time with concentration no Quran
    4) acadmics

    5 hours(due to dopamine detox i guess)

    5) dopamine detox
    Done no music, no youtube(5/30)

    Day score 10%

    Salam! Your determination to quit is very inspiring MashaAllah. I love how you have set these goals of self-improvement for yourself. (Your journal is giving me happy vibes haha)
    Relapses are a part of recovery, focus on learning from your mistakes and In Sha Allah, you will eventually be able to stay away from pmo more. Stay strong! :)

    @Fighter_4_life My longest streak of not listening to music is like 2 weeks or 20 days, idk, but when I do a streak songs start hitting in my mind . Even songs, which I didn't listen to for pleasure, but encountered somewhere by accident restaurant, gas station, streets, somewhere start, all of a sudden, bump in my head . Even really old things come to hit like 5-10 years ago, songs I have never listened since then .

    Do you have similar ''flashes'' of music experiences ?

    Not really i wasn't that much into music..
    I think you might have been a heavy music listener
    One explanation can be that we attach a certain emotion to listening a particular song and years later when we experience some similar feeling/emotion the old music pops up in our mind
    That has happened to me but not while on streak . It happens to me in general

    1)Meditation :
    Breathing exercises (3 minutes) did not get much time today as I was very busy
    2) Physical activity..
    Cleaned my room, cold showers no workout(i m lagging behind on workouts
    3) Spiritual
    Fajr prayer miss, rest prayers on time Quran reading
    4) academics
    2 hours(due to dopamine detox i guess)
    5) dopamine detox
    Done no music, no youtube(6/30)

    Was busy the whole day

    Day score 40%

    Zero(= binging on disturbing fantasies, brain fog as hell, depression attack other crappy feelings)

    2) Physical activity..

    0 I am ashamed but this is true( ocassionally read quran)

    ) dopamine detox
    Done no music, no youtube(8/30)



    Day score 0%
    The day was terribly bad and it destroyed all previous progress so I will start from beginning ie tomarrow will be day1

    I find your journal very interesting and inspiring. You had a bad day. We all do sometimes. Just keep your chin up and don't spiral out of control. Make use of what time you have left today. Wake up tomorrow and start the fight all over again. You can do it. We can all do it.

    Woke up for fajr on time

    State of brain : calm and peace but I can feel pain sensations in my brain(like it was expected to witness chaos and damage but something is calming it down)

    I respect all your efforts in other departments on your journey but do you know why you got a 100% on that day? It's because you prayed fajr+all prayers so Allah guided you and aided you in your day because you were in his protection.

    And it has been ages since I prayed fajr
    So in sha Allah i will keep that up..

    Or inspiring story or brain psychology
    And/or CBT therapy sessions that i take to heal core wounds
