    - guided meditation (10 minutes)

    2) PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
    No Cold shower
    No workout
    Cleaned my room

    4) ACADEMICS :

    5) PARTIAL DOPAMINE DETOX(=NO youtube no music) (19/30)


    State of brain : maladaptive daydream(less severe than ruminating thoughts but still annoying)

    Only 45%? I of course can't judge, I'm not you, but imho you're hard with yourself :) Like you did so well with meditation and you studied and you're on day 20 (incredible) of the detox and you still cleaned your room... You're accomplishing so much! You're a huge inspo, love reading this journal

    My 10 day result report ;
    Victories :-
    1)A constant streak in mediation not less than 15 minutes sometimes exceeded 20 minutes

    2) dopamine detox no music 20/30, no youtube 20/30

    3) cleaned my room (30/30 days)

    4) almost every day read quran

    Result :
    I was able to achieve a really good streak in masochistic fantasies which. Which is really good.For the first time in ages I was very much drawn to do something productive with my life. I had this drive an energy to get things done.

    Feeling more connected to higher power trying to think about afterlife more than this one.. And finding peace in the remembrance of God

    My room is always almost clean...
    And i really take cold showers every now and then :) personal hygiene is improved..

    Setbacks :

    1)No fajr consistency

    2) no workouts

    3) no academic improvement


    Result
    Still suffering from Ruminating time and again...still far from where I wanted to be.. Massive concentration required brain to be focused not damaged

    Improvements =62.8%
    Introducing reboot part 2
    Rigorous efforts = best results

    I love you too cirilla..
    But it is or nothing for me..
    Like addictions either we go cold turkey or fool ourselves
    Similarly is the case with self improvement and healing my damaged brain...
    I have to give my best if I really want things to change...
    This is the only way..
    I have to be hard on myself but only for next 20 days than I just have to sit there and reap fruits...

    If your english is good enough I recommend to read the book " The Brain that Changes itself" by Norman Doidge it has a chapter dealing with masochistic fantasies. Lots of them are linked to childhood traumas. On top of that he devotes a complete chapter how porn wires and form our brains in modern times. However, it´s worth to read the whole book.

    Sorry to see that you're unable to get into academics. Don't give up and keep trying,though. You can do this.

    I can't say anything about the traumas but It is best to just not to sit and overthink. Just get out of whatever you're doing while you're processing traumas and do something else. Move, workout, jump ,to take your mind off things.
