My first 30 days Challenge looking for people to check in with me - I can't do this alone

    Hello everyone ! This is my first post here. I'm starting a new challenge today to go 30 days without PMO and I need your help to do this with me you can join in whatever day you are on right now. We will just regulary check in and support each other. Talk about our achivements or support each other's problems. I just want to feel this community's support and not feel alone on the way. And to never forget why I'm doing this.

    I started my timer at 5 August 12:00. 5th of September is my birthday. I've never made it past 5 days before. But I want to go 30 days without pmo from this day until my birthday. I really want to do it. I will be here at September 5 12:00 and write if I could reach 30 days or not. And why.

    I actually found about nofap like 3 months ago and I've been 'trying' since that day but never made it past day 5. And I just realized that I was never giving it everything I got. I've just decided that from now on I will do everything I can to beat this shit. Because the more I read about it the more I realize that this is the thing that keeping me from being the person I want to be. Every benefit written on that 90 day reports that I want to achieve one day are the main problems I'm struggling with my life like low self confidence,energy,lack of motivation,anxiety etc. This time, I really want to do this, I will give it everything I have and I really need your support. Let's show each other support on this thread I will check in here regularly and talk about the ups and downs of my journey.

    First day is going really fine, didn't have any urges. Not being alone also helps. I went swimming to a beach today doing any sports or outdoor activities to use your energy also helps.Don't look at hot girls because your brain can use that against you when you're alone. Sitting at home is bad, being alone and bored is bad. Try to avoid these situations it really helps.

    It is indeed possible. And I'm going to give you some tools to help you:

    First tool is your will. Do not reason with your brain, just do it!:) Now to help you with this mentality, I give you another tool

    With this you'll have that mentality ingrained in you, and you will survive some of the way.

    Second tool is preventing idleness. Now, there is two situation that make you physically idle. Bed and sitting. Let me clarify: in bed you can feel so comfortable that you instantly think about women. That's bad. You will delete this threat by laying on the floor if you need to rest on day. You can sleep on the bed:rolleyes: Then to the sitting. If you're on computer all day, you're also sitting all day. This is bad, but answer is so obvious: do not sit:rolleyes: If you are going to just watch youtube or facebook, you can just stand, you don't really need to sit. If you play games, that is different story alltogether. If you play, you should not do too long off sessions.

    With these tools you will win:) Keep on guard, do not be alarmed if you relapse on 10+ day mark, just make sure you relapse without porn, start over and do the 30 challenge to the end. Good things are waiting you in the end:cool:

    BTW it's going easy so far. Just living life. I like to look at it this way. We should spend 50% of our time on recovery and 50% kicking ass at life!

    I've never dealt with withdrawals how will I know if one hits me and what should I do if that happens ? Some useful information on the challenges along the way would help

    At some point you should start feel kind of empty inside. Just remember it's ok. Its only temporary. Its best to fill this time with hobbies and with people. We are used to numbing our pain with pmo. What no pmo teaches you is to face and move through your pain.
