My Hero's Journey and the Obstacles

I love my Brain

Fapstronaut
Part 1:

Hello,

Looking back, I have overcome a lot of my previous problems, so I would like to give you some insight into why I was so successful.

This is part 1 of my report, more will follow in the near future.

If you implement these things, then your search may be over. Because the things I report have all been tried and tested.

This is not about motivational talk that only makes you feel good in the short term, but practical instructions that I have tried and tested and that inevitably lead to success.

Not immediately, but increasingly. You have to think in longer time periods. The addiction didn't develop overnight.

I can tell you in advance that it really makes life more worth living.

Conquering all kinds of addictions, especially pornography and ejaculation.

(I deliberately say ejaculation and not masturbation, but more on that later.)

On my starting point. Like most of us, I fell into this addiction very early on.

When the Internet became popular and everyone had a computer at home, I played a lot of video games.

This type of sexual advertising practically forced itself on me when I was on the Internet. Then one thing led to another.

In total, I was unconsciously trapped in this addiction for over 10 years. I have to say that I am a very addictive person, which means that I like to take things to extremes.

When I was a smoker, for example, I smoked two large packs a day.

I think that because of this, I can give you methods that really work.

Anyone who makes it from the very bottom, from the deepest, darkest and gloomiest corner of hell, has also experienced a lot.

Before I tell you about my methods, which have brought very good results, I would like to tell you about some improvements in my life, they have enriched my life:

1. Urge to adventure =

Since I mastered this addiction, I have had an extreme desire to expand, to expand, to immerse myself in the world and experience adventures:

-I was in the military

-I traveled all over Germany, looked at different places

-I go to many sports clubs
-I meet up with other men's groups and we do manly things together
-I go to sleep in the wilderness

The old life, the old world has become small and boring.

This is clearly due to the brain. Everything that I used to suggest to my brain via dopamine kicks through bad habits, such as: pornography or video games, I now experience these things in real life.

I look for satisfaction in real life. In addition, my hormones are working very well, so testosterone, the driving force in men, works for me.

Pornography and ejaculation cause another hormone to be released, called prolactin.

It lowers testosterone and makes men tired and weak. Everyone knows the feeling. With frequent ejaculation, this hormone builds up in the body and the man loses motivation, which can lead to depression and chronic passivity.

2. Physical and mental strength

I am now 32 years old and feel better than I did when I was 16. I feel like I am getting younger and stronger every day.

I used to be tired, lacking energy, my body was very fragile, I couldn't put too much strain on it because I would immediately get problems.

Now everything works, I can do my things from morning to night. My organs are functioning properly.

I can expose my body to stimuli and it adapts. It doesn't let me down.

I don't know any illnesses, of course I support it with a clean diet.

It's a great feeling that my body is radiant again like it was in my youth and even with an update ;)

Of course, mind and body influence each other. The healthier the body, the healthier the mind.

Through deep insights, I have discovered that a man's sperm contains important substances for the body.

For the nervous system, for the brain, for all organs. For me, the question is irrelevant. Everything that promotes the release of semen from the body makes you sick.

It doesn't matter whether it's porn or just masturbation, even during sex.

Porn is of course very visual, so on the one hand it provokes ejaculation.

It's like when you eat something very salty, it provokes your thirst.

And on the other hand, it shows that sex always has to end with ejaculation.

For me, that's a false image that's being conveyed and a distorted idea that takes root in people's minds.

The best option is sex without ejaculation. That's my experience, which is based on a substance. Not blind theory or dogma, but life experience.

Of course, you can't get there straight away. It only works in small steps. First master pornography, then masturbate less. It is also not a linear process.

Everyone has a different starting point. Therefore, it will be different for everyone and everyone will have different reactions.

Don't let yourself be forced into a template and told that it HAS to be like this.

To come back to the body. If you exhaust the body's energies, psychological and mental problems will arise.

3. My brain and nervous system are functioning properly

This component is very important for every person. My mental performance has increased enormously.

I can concentrate very intensively on the topics that interest me, without distraction.

My reward system and brain function support me very well.

I do a lot of sport, boxing and strength training. In the boxing world, it has always been known that the loss of semen, i.e. ejaculation, makes men weak.

His legs get weak. But that's not all. Through my research and countless rounds of the vicious circle that I had to live through to gain experience, I found out that a man's sperm contains important nutrients for the brain and nervous system.

If these secretions are permanently lost, then the brain, nervous system and the hormone glands will have problems.

This means that the man suffers from countless disorders. You have to understand that today only one distinction is made.

Is someone alive or is someone dead? That is very superficial. What distinguishes a living person from a dead person is their vitality and life energy.

The more of these you have, the more alive you are. The less of these you have, the more you resemble a dead person. This is reflected in the quality of life.

My strength training and my boxing have improved considerably. Anyone who does serious sport knows that the nervous system is an important component and if it is chronically disturbed and undernourished, then even the best training is of no use.

To repeat, my training results and my progress have improved enormously.

I have moved past everyone. And above all, my body awareness has become more sensitive.

I know which food and which training methods are best for my body. That's why I can differentiate between a lot of nonsense that doesn't suit me.

These are just a few advantages. I kept a diary to note down the improvements. There are too many to list them all here.

Let's move on to the tools that helped me on my journey. It is incredibly important to have good tools.

I am not a fan of moral motivational speeches or trying to do everything with brute willpower.

In practice, they say, doubts disappear and it is true.

These methods only create a good feeling for the conscience in the short term, but they do not bring about long-term changes.

The tools I use are tried and tested and the longer they are used, the more effects they have and the results come.

We think more in the medium to long term, but there is no other way. A real man knows how to be patient and humble. If you want quick success, you will reap failure.

Let's move on to the first tool:

1. Consciousness

1.1. This will sound strange to some, but this area is extremely important. You must constantly increase your awareness of the issue.

If the question arises, for example: "Is it okay to masturbate once every 7 days or which porn blocker can you recommend to me?"

Then this person has a low level of awareness of this issue and has not yet experienced first-hand how harmful ejaculation is in its full spectrum and does not know how to achieve actual success.

You must be aware of the following things:

-What does it do to me?

-What happens if I give it up, what advantages will there be?

-How would my life be in the next few years with and without this addiction?

-What has it cost me all these years?

-In which areas of life that are particularly important to me has it slowed me down?

-Why, yes, why should I stop, it actually feels great. What is my greatest driving force?

-What effort do I have to make to be able to give up the addiction? -Write down the reasons that led to you relapsing

Here are a few ideas, you can of course expand this list, listen to your inner self and if something seems important enough to you emotionally, then try to increase your awareness in this area.

It is also very important to become master of your sexual thoughts/sexual fantasies.

You must be aware that nothing on the outside can help you (example: porn blocker) if the Trojan horse is inside.

You must learn through mindfulness what is going on inside you, through observation.

Only rational knowledge does not have enough power. You must experience this, constantly be aware of it so that it is anchored deep in your psyche.

But with increased awareness you will master certain challenges that arise along the way and develop backbone and toughness.

For example, you will question the collective image of sexuality in society, whether this is even healthy?

Maybe you will see the most precious fluid in your body, male sperm, in a different light and no longer expel it voluntarily because you will also recognize that behind the feeling of pleasure there is a high price that you always pay, regardless of whether you accept the reality or not, because no one can avoid the consequences.

The most destructive thing you can do is to rely on your willpower without any effort or hope that a porn blocker will do the job for you so that you can put an end to the addiction. Or to chase after certain days and records.

This is about your life and not about insignificant days.

That won't work. Every value entails an activity, an action. You have to stay on the ball constantly and continuously, a little bit every day, if it's important enough to you....

After 7 days, not much will change. Another example: After 7 days in the gym, not much will have happened.

But what about 7 months, 3 years or 7 years? Over time, awareness grows enormously and it is inevitable that you will be rewarded with success.

I'm ending the first part here. The next ones will follow in the near future.

If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to write a post here or send me a message.

Whoa! Love this quotation, this is the wildest and mind blogging quote! I never really had thought of this before. One thing I want to share you about an idea of absolutely nothingness in visual means not visibly blackest but completion nothingness as definition of clear. One question relating to our visual, what do completely nothingness look like? We can answer “Just nonexistent” but didn’t really think about it, I glad I found one thing to tell you. Question: Can we see inside of our head? Does it look darkest in blackness or absolutely nothingness? That is unexplainable but at least we realized it and human mentality are incapable of explain “4th dimension reality” which made me laugh about, just funny and interesting to think about. LOL this post should be on Off-Topic series but I relied to you anyway.:emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I agree on the subject of porn blockers and triggers (trigger is mostly ads from pirate sites).
One needs to change from within, and take responsibility. If he is only counting on some cheap technology to save him, he will likely to fail.
Great journal.

Thank you for appreciating my experience. I would like to deepen the process in order to increase understanding.

Part 2:

1. Short definition of neuroplasticity:

All tools are based on the principle of neuroplasticity. I would like to explain this principle to you a little.

Neuroplasticity comes from neuroscience and states that the brain has the ability to reconstruct itself throughout life.

It can be rebuilt because it is a form. This does not happen overnight, but over a longer period of time.

The first changes appear after about three weeks to a month. For each additional week and month, this rebuilding becomes more pronounced.

In our context, it is to be understood that neuroplasticity goes in two directions:

• A habit can be built up (synapses connect and form a neurological path)
• A habit can be unlearned (synaptic connections are broken down and weakened)

For example, the attempt to tell someone to exercise or take a cold shower when they have a strong urge is actually this principle.

The old habit (masturbation = neurological pathway becomes weaker) is redirected and replaced by a better, new habit (sport = neurological pathway becomes stronger)

Rewiring thus takes place. The longer and more intensively it is repeated, the stronger it becomes and then becomes the normal status, a habit.

2. Overview of the wiring of the brain with pornography and masturbation

Let's take a look at how the brain of a porn addict is wired. Four essential brain changes can be seen there:

-Sensitized addiction pathways

-Desensitization
-Hypofrontality
-Altered stress systems

☆ Sensitized addiction pathways:

This means nothing other than the exaggerated desire for a habit (in our case: pornography and/or masturbation)

So the person only enjoys one thing, everything else is hardly fun, does not excite and the only satisfaction comes from this addiction.

Nowadays you can see this clearly when people run across the street like zombies with their smartphones.

Of course this has a lot to do with brain chemistry, with the reward system and dopamine, but I don't want to go into these details too much because I want to keep this post more practical. (This model of the four brain changes comes from yourbrainonporn.com, if you want to look at the details, you'll find it there) ☆ Desensitization: In other words, all other activities are no longer fun

Example:

• Going for a walk,
• Listening to the birds sing,
• Doing sports,
• Studying,
• Reading a book,
• Having a conversation with another person,
• or that people only want to experience things like hunting/fighting/weapons training and adventures through video games/films and no longer in real life

These activities generate too little satisfaction in the brain because the brain has been changed so negatively by sensitization (porn) that the addiction simply dominates.

Another example: Try to get a young person interested in martial arts, most would rather play Mortal Kombat.

Why? Because people always choose the path of least resistance. Pressing the power button and pushing the keys is much easier than sweating yourself.

If someone is in this swamp, they have a pretty hard time because this mechanism runs unconsciously.

Children who were once very active and full of life become lazy and passive towards life.

☆ Hypofrontality:

Describes a loss of impulse control. In other words, people no longer have any control over their desires, even when they know that they are doing something destructive.

Example: Someone who wants to lose weight but can't give up pizza.

This phenomenon is due to the fact that pornography, as well as ejaculating without pornography, damages and weakens areas of the brain that are normally responsible for these functions such as willpower, motivation and impulse control.

So we have children in adult bodies who simply cannot control themselves and want their reward for every stimulus.

Conversely, this means that if you have restructured your brain, you will get a lot of freedom back, because you can decide for yourself what you want to do and make better decisions for your life.

☆ Changed stress systems

Everyone says stress is bad. Well, it depends on how someone reacts to it. Some use it as a driving force.

In our case, stress activates sensitized addiction pathways to provide relief.

A very simple example related to life. Imagine you encounter some kind of problem in your life, then it is very tempting to resort to PMO, suddenly you feel better.

Of course only in the short term.....And the problems come back.

In the next posts I would like to show you how you can slowly but surely fix this mess and steer it in a better direction.

Part 3:

This post is about your motives, WHY do you do something?

We humans go through insurmountable hardships when we are emotionally convinced of something.

Pure cognitive understanding does not help here. For example:

• Yes, I want to do the 90 days of NoFap,
• or I want to become a millionaire,
• or I'm doing this for women.

This superficial orientation actually shows that someone actually does not yet know what is really important to them in life.

It is all too superficial and simply corresponds to the conditioning of society, which dictates to them what they should want.

I also want to take away your illusion that you should know immediately what is important to you in life.

But here too, you can really find out what is important to you in life through self-observation over a longer period of time.

And most of the time, it's things that they never suspected or that are waiting to be discovered or rediscovered deep in their psyche.

I emphasize this point because it is what drives them. It is the force behind a blow that knocks out the opponent.

This path involves a lot of hardship, and if you don't have something that keeps you going and gets you through difficult times, then you will give up.

To illustrate this point, I would like to give you an example. Imagine a woman who has been smoking for 20 years.

She is asked whether she can stop smoking. She claims that she will never be able to stop and has tried many times.

Suddenly this woman becomes pregnant. She manages to stop, at least for the 9 months.

Why, because she suddenly has something in her life that seems so emotionally important to her that she overcomes all her excuses.

When you find something like that, something happens in your brain too. Your brain, which once classified pornography addiction as one of the most important things, will now understand that it is no longer the most important thing.

If you focus on something new and feed it with emotions, then this becomes your new "addiction". You are orienting yourself towards something new.

A shift occurs. Instead of short-term, blunt rewards, you reprogram your brain, actually your whole body, your whole organism, so that you get to where life is really worth living.

This can be different for everyone.
This step loosens up the sensitization and at the same time counteracts desensitization in the brain.

You teach your brain that something that still seems unattractive may actually be very desirable.

And that what seems indispensable at the moment is more of an illusion and is no longer so attractive; on the contrary, it represents an obstacle that must be removed.

Here too, it is important to understand that the new insight takes a long time to bear fruit in your psyche.

But if you keep reminding yourself of what is really important to you, repeating that every day, then that side will become so established that it will become unstoppable.

I totally agree on part 3
You have to make nofap meaningful, not simply boosting a number on a counter, which is likely going to fail.

Jordan Peterson would instruct people to ''craft a vision that's so compelling that it makes all the struggle worthwhile.''

So I told myself, Im doing it because I owe it to my future life and lover and family, and for that (not a counter number) I'm willing to do dive into the depth hell, let alone not watching porn.

Part 4:

For me, meditation is another tool that is essential. I don't use it for spiritual reasons to become enlightened.

No, on the contrary, I use it for pragmatic reasons. It just works and brings good results.

In theory, it is said that it supports, regulates and builds up the areas of the brain that have been devastated by addiction.

For example, it builds up gray matter in the prefrontal cortex and this can perform its functions, such as impulse control, better.

In a realistic scenario, it would look like this: when the urge to masturbate comes, impulse control takes over, you can weigh up which action is more constructive for your life and then act accordingly.

In this case, you would be able to muster the strength to abstain.

Your brain also learns which actions are desirable and which are not.

This is just one advantage. But there are others too.

Today we live in a society of excess. Our senses are constantly overstrained.

Whether it is sight, hearing, taste or touch. We are under constant bombardment. Then we take substances such as caffeine, sugar and others that have a stimulating effect on our brain.

If we now consciously decide to relieve the sensory channels, not to allow ourselves to be bombarded for a certain period of time, then we actually notice what a blessing peace can be.

Simply being able to enjoy the silence, not needing stimulation and relaxing.

From this peace, which then rubs off on your whole life, your consciousness will increase immensely.

A person who is at peace with themselves and does not have to constantly bombard themselves with stimuli is much better able to perceive details.

Others are blind to these details because they are constantly under constant fire, or their brain is.

(Incidentally, your reward system is trained to cope with much less stimulation, i.e. less dopamine release)

You will perceive subtle stimuli in your body, this sensitivity develops over time.

For example, you will notice that your addiction, which you always thought was your sex drive, is not actually your drive.

On the contrary, it is a pathological pattern that has been trained.

I would like to give another example. There is this mechanism in the brain, when too much dopamine is triggered, then a peak occurs, then this increase falls and the dopamine falls below the baseline.

At this moment we feel miserable. The aim is to get back above the baseline, so we want to release dopamine again with some kind of action.

The problem is that it then falls below the baseline again, this time a little lower, and we have to repeat this several times to get back above the baseline.

Then we get into a vicious circle that wears us down and causes depression.

I notice immediately when I have overstimulated my brain and can react immediately with a meditation session to reset the brain structures instead of chasing the next dopamine kick.

You cannot establish this habit immediately, of course, so I would suggest you start slowly.

I now meditate 40 minutes a day.

I started with 5 minutes a day and extended it by one minute every month. You can work out how long it took me.

But don't forget that if you spend a lot of time on the foundation, it will eventually become a robust habit that will stay with you for your entire life, like brushing your teeth.

Let's remember neuroplasticity: after 30 days, the first serious connections in the brain start to take hold, and after 90 days they are very robust. Moreover, they become more and more robust.

Therefore, some things take time, so don't make it so difficult for yourself to get started.

I don't want to miss meditation anymore. Out of my thirst for research, I once wanted to try out how well I would do without meditation.

I stopped for two months. The difference was merciless, I no longer had any control over my desires and my head was in a mess, a confusion.

Since then, I have been meditating and my brain thanks me.

At this point, a short conclusion:

Meditation teaches you to identify anomalies in your organism. Sensitized addiction pathways like porn will be recognized for what they are.

In addition, your brain will learn to cope with less dopamine. Sources that release large amounts of dopamine quickly will seem unpleasant to you because they are not natural.

Thus, sensitized addiction pathways will become weaker. You will get by with less dopamine and learn to appreciate less dopamine, thus the desensitization will be healed and other activities will become more attractive to you.

It rebuilds brain areas, thereby counteracting your hypofrontality, meaning you get more control over your impulses.

Ultimately, you can also use meditation for stress management so that you can calm down and not drift into harmful habits.

All of this serves to rewire the brain in a better direction.

Part 5: Emotional Management

In my opinion, most people fail because of their emotional challenges.

It is a skill that can be learned to deal with your emotions in a healthy way.

In good days and moments, we can all keep going. But what about the dark, gloomy and lonely moments?

The ability to learn to deal with your emotions is essential. Otherwise, you will disintegrate like a soldier when the situation seems hopeless.

You can put 100 different people in the same situation, but everyone will react differently.

It is about enduring difficult times, keeping hope and "actively" focusing and directing your emotions in a better direction.

I also think that this is a very masculine trait, to go the way you have planned, unaffected by your emotions, to march forward despite all the difficulties.

Otherwise, someone will be very unstable and unstable.

Success depends on this ability, no matter what area of your life, how resilient you are in difficult times.

When you build a house, there is always a foundation that supports the house. It doesn't matter how impressive the house is built, if the foundation is not solid, then complications will arise.

What I mean is, no matter how noble your goals and desires are, if your emotional backbone is weak, then at a certain point you will give up.

I would like to say something about emotions. In our society, emotions are not given much attention.

Actually, it is completely different. Everything is tried to suppress these emotions and sweep them under the carpet.

Many people have excessive addictions because they want to numb their emotions. They don't want to face unpleasant feelings and instead want to numb themselves so that they feel good "in the short term".

And this has to be repeated over and over again in order to feel good over and over again and suppress the pain. But this doesn't solve any problems. It is an expression of helplessness.

There are not only physical wounds, but also psychological, emotional wounds. We have to deal with them so that we can heal them. But we have not learned how to deal with our emotional issues in a healthy way.

Here are a few examples of how you can escape from your emotions and ultimately numb yourself:

• Addictions of any kind: alcohol, cigarettes, porn
• Escaping into other worlds: video games, films, series
• Escaping into work (career)
• Using women as drugs (wanting to have sex with lots of women to distract yourself)
• Fast food (sugar, fat and salt as a taste experience)
• Social media (constant distraction)
• Shopping spree (buying things you don't need with money you don't have and only paying in 30 days or in installments, but the shopping experience makes you happy, shopping yeaaah!)

You have to be aware that pornography and masturbation have an incredible potential to numb you.

In neuroscience, orgasm is considered one of the greatest narcotics.

You have to understand this pattern. When we are cornered and a problem arises, we want to feel good. Pornography, even just ejaculation alone, is one of the most effective means.

If someone has been doing this for years, they have numbed a lot. In other words, if you stop now, you will not be able to avoid looking at all the things you have been running away from for years.

Things will come up that are very painful. Emotional wounds, injuries, abuse, trauma...

The misunderstanding is that many now think they have done something wrong and symptoms that are not normal appear and they become afraid. They do not go through the process, but abort it.

They have not done anything wrong, it is necessary to go through the emotions and release them.

Not all at once, of course, but in small chunks. What I just want to say is that not all symptoms are withdrawal symptoms, but severe traumas will arise.

Nobody gets into such dependency and addictive behavior if they do not have these issues inside.

Therefore, I would like to give you the tip to learn to deal with your emotions and learn effective ways to treat emotional issues and release them in the subconscious.

This topic is huge, you have to find your own way and do your own research.

However, I would like to introduce you to an exercise so that you can internalize a spark of the matter.

This exercise consists of internalizing a good moment.

This can be anything:

• A smile from another person
• A bird singing
• The sunrise
• An achievement you are particularly proud of
• A conversation with another person

With this exercise you teach yourself to emotionally re-educate yourself. This seemingly harmless exercise is very effective.

The human psyche is designed to think very negatively, to only see the negative and to feel negative and behave accordingly.

With this exercise you can learn in the long term not to see everything negatively, you can learn to have a spark of hope in depressing times and to carry on despite everything on the outside speaking against it, until you reach better times again.

You will notice, in the long term, that where you previously gave up, you will carry on.

I wish you the best life Be happy

Part 6: Energy management

Now we come to something that many people don't realize.

If someone has been wasting their potential energy for years, then the body is constantly at a low energy level.

If you now store energy and no longer waste it, then that's wonderful, but the body is not used to these high energy levels.

In theory, that always sounds good, but in practice it can lead to complications.

If you now store this energy and this energy wants to expand, then many men get pressure in their genitals, a feeling of heat.

This is mainly because the higher centers of the body are not available, they are blocked.

Some claim that the chakras are not accessible in the higher levels.

What I have found through my observations, however, is that the energy rises from the testicles and genitals to the head, to the crown.

In the best case scenario. Since these paths are not available to most people, the energy tries to find another way and the shortest way is via the genitals.

The side effect is that the pressure escapes, but a lot of energy is also lost.

So you have to reactivate the higher levels of the body, which can take a long time, but it is a necessity.

You cannot handle a lot of energy if you do not have the capacity.

Otherwise, there are the most common tips: just do a lot of sport, or keep yourself busy, take a cold shower.

These are short-term solutions and only fight symptoms, not the cause.

You do not want to constantly try not to relapse, but rather develop the skills and integrate the energy into your organism so that it becomes automatic.

You do not want to suffer from the energy, but rather integrate it harmoniously into your life and not be constantly frustrated and under constant fire and fight against it.

Imagine a backpack that weighs 30 kg. Many people will now try to minimize the weight so that they can travel lighter or so that things are easier for them.

However, they will then have to do without important tools and essential items.

It would be much better to build a robust, physical body so that they have enough strength and can transport these 30 with ease.

It is exactly the same with sperm, we need certain physical and mental abilities, otherwise it becomes a burden that many cannot bear.

As already discussed, willpower is doomed to failure. You have to develop these skills.

Why are the upper centers blocked? Quite simply because they were never needed. Constant masturbation reduces energy reserves, so they are never used.

It is like a house in which some rooms are not used for a very long time.

And anyway, as soon as the sexual drive becomes noticeable, most people masturbate, so the body has become accustomed to a low energy level.

And it has never learned to deal with high energy levels or it has forgotten how to do so. The last time may have been in childhood or as a teenager.

What you don't use, you forget.

I will also recommend a book on this topic where you can study it intensively.

So that you learn the ability to keep your ejaculate in your body for an unlimited period of time.

The problem with these things, however, is when you dogmatically stick to one thing. Or seeing something incomplete as the big picture.

NoFap is very good for neutralizing the disorder in the brain. It is a foundation that needs to be laid. However, it is not the end point.

The brain needs to be rewired, but that is not everything. Many people think it is ONLY about the brain. It is important, but not the only thing that is important.

You then have to take the next step and live out your sexuality in a healthy way.

Learn how to deal with your sexual energy. In other words, sexual activities without losing sperm. You can learn that and it is very liberating because you do not limit yourself in your sexuality.

Questions like:

• I have met a woman, should I throw away my 75 days of Nofap?

• Or can I masturbate every two weeks?

These are all symptoms of people who develop a disturbed relationship with their sexuality.

They see their sexuality as a burden or avoid every woman because that could lead to a relapse.

What you can do instead is become sexually active and direct the energy to higher centers of the body.

Therefore, it is not lost and you do not have terrible pressure in your genitals.

Or you have to constantly decide whether to practice abstinence or have sex.

But this is more for people who I encourage to take the next step and not just stick to Nofap, semen retention.

So for people who have perhaps been porn-free and masturbation-free for several months. The brain needs to be cleaned up, for the most part, otherwise this method does not work because you have not yet reached a certain stage in your development.

In the end, that's how it is. You have a problem, you went online and accepted the first thing that came along.

But the world is much bigger and we should not cling to dogmas.

In other words, you can also masturbate without losing your ejaculate and learn to control your energy in your body. This practice is frowned upon in Nofap. This is also true for a beginner.

However, when the brain is largely restructured, these things are possible and also a necessary step to progress, but many shy away from it because they cling to the old ideologies, thought patterns and so on.

I would like to mention here again that a proper, deep, detailed and solid rewiring of the brain must first take place in order to be able to use this practice.

Therefore, the 90 days that are touted in Nofap are justified. Even though we are individuals and it may happen sooner for some and later for others.

If you have not done the rewiring properly, then you will relapse mercilessly with this practice.

This foundation can take months, even years.

Even the magical 90 days always require a preparation time. Nobody manages it at the beginning, there is always a critical phase before you get there.

Lay a good foundation and then take the next step.

When you can then use the full potential of your body, you will notice that it is much easier to keep your sexual energy and channel it in better directions.

One important aspect again as an addendum:

These energies are very real. You cannot suppress these life energies or sexual energy with willpower or other evasive maneuvers.

Pure abstinence tries to do just that. It is necessary for a while, but not forever.

You have to learn how to deal with them and learn to integrate these energies in a healthy way.

Imagine a soldier has been shot and he has a wound.

This wound must be treated, it cannot be ignored or overcome with willpower, otherwise the soldier will bleed to death.

It is the same with this enormous energy, pay attention to the energies.
