Hello all! I never really seen myself joining this community but after some looking around I can see it's niche. Anywho, my name is Tristan. I'm 18 years old and have been using porn frequently for many years. However I'm starting to realize now that it's been causing more problems than I might have thought. I lost my virginity when I was 15 and since then have had quite a few sexual partners. But I've never in my entire life been able to reach climax with a partner; however, I can achieve it relatively easily by myself. So I've done some testing around and found that my style of masterbation doesn't matter. But I have to use porn to achieve climax. Normally I wouldn't care much, my usual sexual encounter would consist of contineous sex until my partner decided she wanted to stop. Once she left I'd finish myself off and there would be no problem. I've recently been seeing someone I very much care about lately and she's noticed my issue. It's been causing her some distress and makes her believe she's doing something wrong, which is not the case. So I would like to stop watching porn in hopes that I can balance myself out and have a more satisfying expirence with my girlfriend. Any advice would be much appreciated. And thank you for providing a helpful and caring community thus far.

@ShlushyShush welcome to nofap. You have come to the right place to address the issue. Yes, PMO causes delayed ejaculation and erection problems but it also makes you isolated and lose touch with reality as well. Hopefully you will be able to shield yourself from all the negative effects and save a ton of time and energy as you are still only 18.
I encourage you to start a journal here and come here regularly and you will make progress.
    I wish you good luck!

  3. Hello and welcome! I had this problem as well. Trust me, just give up pmo and everything will return to the way it should be. In fact, you might start to finish earlier than you’d like for a while because it feels that good. I wish you all the best on your journey. Stay strong!
