I have always been skeptical of porn addiction, I'd watch and listen to David Ley, Dr Phil, psychology today and the doctors YouTube page. To rationalise and try to keep doing something that makes me feel better for about 30 seconds after I've finished, and then makes me feel worse because of the guilt and anger i experience after.

I sided with the so called scientific evidence and experts in the sexual field of work, over my own personal feelings and experience. I know that I feel better when I'm not watching porn or masterbating, but still held onto the warped idea of porn being good for you.

Some doctors point to the psychological (and physical) benefits of (occasional) masturbation. I don't think many serious doctors will claim porn is good for you (even if they don't necessarily recognise the harm)?

I'm a bit torn whether occasional masturbation is healthy or not, but excessive masturbation is certainly unhealthy, and if you have gone down that route or are unable to masturbate without porn than you need to reboot first.
