Hello dear friends,
I am a 22 year old working in a software firm. When I return home, I usually watch porn and fap. As a result, I am very depressed and my physical appearance and confidence are getting shattered. As a result of excessive masturbation, I am experiencing heavy hair fall. Today I relapse and I want to start afresh and follow noFap principles. I am gonna exercise from tomorrow and abstain from all fap activities. I will target 90 days streak. Wish me good luck. I will be posting my daily progress on this thread.
Day 0: This is the day, I am gonna start nofap.

1. stop with compulsive masturbating now (it f... your dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels)
2. see dermatologist -> you probably have androgenic alopecia (AA)
3. if you have AA, you'll need to take pills -> 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors (finasteride, dutasteride) and minoxidil if you want to retain hair or you'll go bald.

Sorry, there is no magical cure for this. I've been experiencing this nightmare since 18 yo (36 now), abandoned the pills after a year, because it destroyed my semen and I'm almost completely bald now. If you're a person with strong self esteem, just shave your head and forget about it, if not, take pills, get a nice girlfriend (if that's what you want), college degree, good job and when you feel like you're doing OK in life and you can live without hair, go off the pills. Maybe you'll have no side effects and you won't even need to stop taking them. If I could turn back time, I'd taken bloody pills for a decade or so, enjoy life and stop, when I'd want to have children. Baldness at young age really shattered my selfesteem. Even today, I'm not completely OK with it.
 
Day 3: I am feeling so energetic. In the last few days, I used to masturbate almost on alternate days. I have started going to gym and also doing Yoga. Particularly for hair, I am doing nail rubbing (balayam), applying coconut + vitamin E oil, shirsana (head stand). I am have also slightly improved my diet and drinking enough water.
I noticed a thing. In the gym, I have started running about 3.5-4km and doing some other cardio exercises. This keeps me away from all PMO activities. Even, I think deliberately about PMO, I have got an automatic control over it. I know it is going to be more difficult in the later days. But this time, I am determined and no thing on earth can prevent me from achieving my goal of 60 days streak.
 
Day 5: Yeah...I am on day 5. This is probably the greatest streak I have attained in the last 6-8 months, though this the first time, I am doing nofap seriously.
And coming to my hair regrowth, tomorrow I am going to trim my hair small. This will enable me to message my hair properly. I am also going to gym regularly and also doing yoga daily. Thanks all and please keep supporting me.
 
Day 6: Today was also an easy day I didn't get any PMO thoughts. I am feeling energetic and there is something I noticed today there has been a sudden physical fitness experienced by me.
Today I played cricket and enjoyed it. But there was a lot of work in office too. Looking forward to another successful nofap day.
 
Day 7: Yes I did it. Finally a week of streak in the last 10-11 months. Life is awesome without PMO I must say.
I am working out daily and doing yoga.
One thing I want to make clear that using products like rogain and minoxidil is the worst thing anyone can do their hair and health. These toxic poisons can seep into your body and mix with the blood. Please don't use them. Their effect is temporary. Once u stop using them, your hair fall like crazy. Thank god, I never used them and never will.
I also shaved my armpit and pubic hair a week back. I am sure this helped me maintain hygiene and abstain from PMO.
Anyway my 7 days streak is completed and 83 more to go for my 90 days streak.
 
Day 8: Wow god, it has become so easy to do nofap. Thanks nofap community. I am enjoying my nofap life.
I am also keeping myself busy with gym, yoga, cricket and my startup idea . So my advice to anyone doing nofap would be to keep yourself busy with whatever you love to do.
 
Day 9: Succeeded today also. Wow nofap is just awesome.
For my hair regrowth, I have also started applying onion juice on my scalp along with yoga and nail rubbing. Usually I do yoga in morning and gym in evening. Also working on my business idea. Feeling great.
 
Day 12: Now I must say it has become really easy..I tried nofap multiple times, but keeping my self physically and mentally involved in other things has made nofap really easy and effortless. About hair growth, it is said that at least three months are required to see any noticeable change. So I will wait until I finish my 90 days streak. Bye goodnight everyone.
 
Day 16: Sorry I couldn't post updates for few days since I was really busy. But yes It is going really easy and it seems to me like I will easily achieve my 90 days streak. And yeah my hair fall has completely stopped I must say. They look thick and black. Bye everyone..Eat fit and do noFap and stay fit and handsome!
 
Day 27/Day 0: I relapsed today. This made.me feel really sad. I just couldn't control myself. But this time I going to get going more positively. So tomorrow onwards I will start my normal journey again. This time I will set a smaller target of 30 days to keep me on track and not loose focus.
