My views on the world's actuality

Human society as we used to know it is dead. We are more sexualized nowadays than ever before in human history. We see more naked bodies than all our ancestors together, and yet we have less sexual intercourses. They've killed our natural attraction towards women and implanted a compulsive behavior based on daily dopamine rushes. We don't have realistic life-time projects anymore but irrelevant moments of mental excitement through social approval. An on and off of emotions, a stress/euphoria dichotomy routine. We all must fix this guys. We have to win this battle.

Totally agree. It is disturbing to see where the main stream is heading. I have always found comfort in the idea that human's are complex. We do have the ability to get out of the main stream and find one of our own, like this forum. This is the hope that I hold onto. There are people out there that do not subscribe to the ideals of the society you described. I find them to be much happier humans beings.

Society today seems like an immense mechanism heading towards abyss, and accelerating. It sounds old fashioned to say that, but the lack of sound values and ethics has been degrading our relationships and all sorts of environments. It is a "boomer" stance, but matches deeply into most historical tendencies happening nowadays (climate emergency, hyper-sexual culture, enhancing of inequality and violence, extremism in politics and so on).

The personal computing has more than any reshaped humanity, well at least in the developed world, specifically the internet. Gaming, social media, internet dating and pornography have reshaped society for the worse. They're reshaping our neurological pathways for the worse not the better.

A responsible government would see the dangers of modern entertainment e.g. internet, movies, gaming, porn and place restrictions. However, when a western liberal democracy does this there is a huge outcry that freedoms are being removed. However, what freedoms do we have when we're all addicted to pointless dribble?

It's a sign of a crumbling empire when offices workers come back from the weekend and talk about the TV shows and movies they have watched. Instead of talking about family and activities they did during the day e.g. sports, nature walks, family get together's etc.

People will be crying about "freedom" even as society collapses around them. Freedom is only as good as the societies it produces. If the government could crack down and crush the Porn industry that would be good, it would lead to good outcomes for society at large. This is something that might be uncomfortable for liberal minded people to accept, but it is true. The biggest effect of the coming crisis will be to erase liberal weakness.
