need advice, about cold showers, to fight urges during Nopmo

    Hello. I want to use cold showers as main weapon to fight urges during Nopmo. But, when is better to use cold showers when you have very little urge, like when you just watch some hot scenes/pictures in your mind for seconds and then ignore it and again and again.. and have desire to fap, but it's easy to do not masturbate at such moments. so which is better, kill little urge in the begining or wait "challenging urge" and then kill it. problems comes from the fact, that I can't take cold showers more then 2 times daily, even 1 time of cold shower for 3-4 minute sometimes cause little hypothermia and my body says no! no more cold! but I think I can adapt 2 cold shower daily (for 2-4 minute), but I must avoid strong urges, because I have low will power fighing against strong urges and I will probably relapse.

    I’ve been cold showering for a month or so now. Just the process of knowing it will be uncomfortable and doing it anyway is enough to build a sense of strength and self belief.
    Just remind yourself how good you will feel afterwards. I always have the heating on full and wrap up warm afterwards.
    Really don’t think it matters when you do it as long as you do it. Same with how long but last as long as you can bear.
    Next time you walk down the street look around and ask yourself how many people you see have cold showered that day. That always gives me an edge I feel

    Walking also helps. Its has a similarly beneficial effect to cold showers.
    It helpd by getting you out of the house (out of isolation/hiding) and into the public sphere which is psychologically healthier.

    The exercise gets rid of tension and if you walk alone it allows you to think.

    Plus it takes a lot of balls to relapse in public:p

    I will add pushups/walking/exercises to cold showers. I think it would be much effective. thanks for advicings! good luck!
