I don't know if this if the right place to ask for this but in an attempt to stop looking at porn I basically stopped going into my room for several months. I was even paranoid to go into it because I am so addicted it got to the point where I would fap without even bothering to find trash bag or can to throw away my old issues in. I would literally just leave them on the floor, on my computer wires, on blankets etc.

Now I'm trying to get my life back in order and clean up my room but I noticed how dusty my room was and realized the dust probably has material from my old tissues in it. Now I'm worried that I would have to disinfect everything in my room now since it might have the old semen filled tissue dust on it. Any Advice on how to clean up my room now with all the old dust everywhere? On a side note since heat sets in semen stains would the dust be able to stain the inside of my computer since electronics get quite hot? I'm being serious here because if it stains it I might as well just get a new computer so I don't feel guilty using a semen stained computer.

  2. So... I'm not sure where to begin.

Rooms get dusty for a plethora of reasons. The idea that your semen-filled tissues have somehow evaporated into the air, getting semen all over your room, is... well, really silly. That's not how dust works. Your room is just dusty because you haven't cleaned it in a long time, and that's what happens to all rooms that aren't cleaned regularly.

I'm a professional housekeeper and have been for years, so if you need any advice in cleaning, let me know.

Thank you. I was worried because I had asked a friend and they said some of the dust might contain germs from the old tissues. It's hard to find an exact answer from Google so your answer is helpful. Now when I clean it will actually feel like I'm accomplishing something.

Put some gloves on, get a bin bag, and put everything in the bin. Dust/clean all surfaces, clean your computer with computer wipes or something else suitable (google it), vacuum the floor, done.

Don't get obsessive about disinfecting everything, just clean it up so it looks nice and then keep it clean, every week or so as needed. Without wishing to get all Jordan Peterson about it, a clean tidy and beautiful space will improve your mental health, your self-respect and make you happier, so get on it!

I've never heard of something like this and to be honest it kinda grossed me out. I've always been one that wanted to get rid of the "evidence" as soon as possible. That bring said, good on you for realizing you needed to change your environment to change your behavior. It's very symbolically significant that you want to deep clean that room and there have been some good tips offered here on that. Then the trick is to keep it that way. Good luck, bro.

Any way to salvage old clothing/towels?

So before I learned how much of a bad idea it is to wash clothing/towels with semen on them with hot water I have ended up getting a bunch of set in stains in some of my old clothing/towels as I usually just put my clothes in on the hottest wash cycle by default. I've tried things like bleach, peroxide, vinegar and baking soda, etc. Is there any way to salvage them or am I completely out of luck?

Also I found out I had some rather hidden stains on bathroom towel I had been using. Would any of the old semen stain rub off on me if I had used it? I know the answer is probably no, but it worries me a lot thinking about all the things I've touched after using those towels.

Can't say I've ever had this problem, always just chucked them in the machine and they come out ok. From the sounds of it, you might be better off chucking them.

Get yourself some smart new clobber when you have learned some self-control!

  8. If they've been washed, they're fine. That's definitely not something you should worry about.

Well, I've had zero experience with semen stains, being a woman and all. Lol but I use this stain remover for blood, and it seems to work pretty well. It's pretty unlikely anything will work on stains that have been set in for that long, but if you really want to give something another shot, maybe try this. It's not a bad idea to have some stain remover on hand anyway, for the future. In the future though, its important to treat stains as they happen.

Actually though, come to think of it, I had a dress that had a bunch of chapstick stains all over it (accidentally left chapstick in some pants pockets in the washer, and it totally ruined the cream color part of this dress), and I think this is the stain remover I used for that, after several other washes and attempts. And this one worked. So it's worth a shot.

It's also pretty cheap. It's a small bottle, but it lasts a long time. I use quite a generous amount of it every month, and one bottle seems to last like a year or so for me.

I highly suspect this guy is trolling, but if serious...
This sounds more like a psychological desire that you are justifying for hygiene reasons. I can't imagine ever being so lazy as to not throw a tissue away in the first place, though. I would normally just cum on my leg/stomach, let the worst dry for about 1/2 an hour and then go to the bathroom to have a quick lower body only shower after a multiple fap session.

  10. Eh, possibly. I'm sure other people around here could use cleaning advice too though, so it couldn't hurt to answer.

  13. First of all, I love your username. And I like to follow the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." As far as I know, semen is not a health hazard. If the ghost of your past fap-sessions takes over your computer and it becomes haunted, then it might be time to get a new one. Other than that, I think you're good.

not because you're a woman, but because he (and we) are porn addicts. It's not just 'the way it is', and we are here because we want to change and be better. But, the truth is, the last time he saw a housekeeper it probably in some ridiculous fantasy scenario on a screen, and that's what his brain will jump to as that is his experience. We are aspiring to be better!

I think it's great that a cleaning query on here got a reply from a professional.

  15. I didn't call you a creep or a pervert. You just said that you didn't mean anything sexual by it, which means none of my responses apply to you then. They apply to a hypothetical situation that didn't even happen.

Sorry things got out of hand. I was just responding to the idea that it could be something sexual, and was waiting for your clarification. You clarified that it wasn't sexual, so as long as you are telling the truth, none of my responses even matter anymore, and they clearly don't apply to you.

It's just the thought that that could even be the case, was rather insulting to me. Which isn't your fault at all, and I'm not directing any of my disgust for that toward you. Just toward the notion that that could be the case, I guess.

  16. I do apologize for not asking for clarification sooner. I figured you were seeing these posts, since you commented on the thread, but you weren't responding, so I wanted you to clear up what you actually meant so people aren't just assuming.

  17. I deleted my comments as well, and I would urge @MuscularSherlockHolmes to do the same. Of course you can do whatever you want, but I would appreciate it. I don't think the speculation and assumptions we were exchanging were fair.

  18. Yup, if I had shut this down earlier and clarified, it probably wouldn't have gotten out of hand. I'll come back and delete this later.

And for the record, I will say now that I am firmly against harassment and objectification of any gender, especially on a recovery site. The fact that there is a females-only section is proof that they can't always post in the regular forums without being harassed, which is sad.

  20. Sorry I am running a little late. I have had a lot of sh!t happen to me in real life, so I was away for more than a couple weeks.
