Need Books, Essays and Reading- HELP

I know that retention has been practiced throughout the ages for various purposes, but I am eagerly looking for writings/essays and documentation (BOOKS especially!) that discuss the way PMO effects energy and personal drive. FOR EXAMPLE I was told that Mike Tyson went without PMO during his entire prime of about five years, or that followers of the Hindu faith believe that sexual energy is life energy. I aim to learn what history has determined and what people in generations past have concluded.
