So I have been doing nofap seriously for about 5 months. Over the summer I had a streak of 84 days and it felt amazing! Prior to this streak I was probably PMOing everyday for the last 5 years (only on occasion prior to that). I think a big reason for this longer streak was deleting social media and dating apps off of my phone and working out almost everyday. For about the last two months I have been trying to break this record but have fallen short a couple of times. I usually last anywhere from one to three weeks. Within the last month I have only PMO twice, which I realize is great progress from where I was this time last year.

Does anyone have good advice on how to get to "the next level"? Even though I realize my frequency has significantly decreased and benefits aren't completely diminishing after an occasional slip up, I want to reach 90+ days. What are some methods people use to turn down temptations? Are there hobbies and practices that I can implement? I feel like my big issue right now (especially during covid) is staying busy and not being bored. Any help is much appreciated!

  2. Hey, I just joined and have started my no PMO reboot. I don't have any experience with this as this is my first time trying a reboot, but if you need an accountability partner I can help. Also if you're looking for something to distract you during covid you can try reading new books or learning a new language. Something else that you could do is go out for long walks first thing in the morning. Sometimes it helps to get outside and clear your head when you first wake up.

After many years of failing noPMO I just decided to do noP and that's been working great for me. You could keep doing noPMO but don't watch P anymore even if you MO. P is the issue. Also don't go on a binge if you do MO, any streak is still progress.

Thats kind of my thoughts too. Since I am relatively new I am going to continue no pmo but maybe eventually no p. And yes I agree, binging is way worse than a random slip up
