”Today was my last time!” That’s what I wrote on my paper journal this morning after relapsing once again. Of course right after that my mind was tortured by guilt and regret leading to an inner-anger leading to the failure of an important test today. Do you know what’s funny about it ? I was sure it would turn that way! On the moment I’ve swipe my lesson files to the private navigation page, I knew I would fait my test.
So here I am, in my car, writing on the internet how shitty I feel.
I’m sick of deceiving myself and people around me! So that is why because today is a key day, because today there’s a lot of elements that will put me in the best condition to begin a new journey tomorrow, I ask your for your best tips and pieces of advice and also your key motivational quotes.
From now on I’m living the life i deserve to live... but it won’t come easily.
I need to fight for it, it requires efforts and from now on I will be harsh to myself but I won’t let it go once more !
Exercice, reading, meditation, healthy diet and no compromise!
    Today was my last time...

My friend, you have so much potential, the best way to end this is to first, get a good streak going, and then forget about this whole NoFap thing, forget that you are on NoFap. That will make it much easier.

Thank you for your reply ! Feels great :)
Yeah that’s what usually works best... but somehow the urges come back and it’s the end... gotta get tougher than them!

One of my favorite quotes is one everyone already knows:

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

So, you may have withdrawals, you may lose sleep at night, you may have intense urges, you may even have failures. Just remember it's making you stronger.

A related quote is "pain is weakness leaving the body." You gotta deal with a little pain today to be stronger tomorrow.

A tip that helps me is to remember that masturbation is inconsistent with my principles. It's a shameful secret so in some ways it's dishonest. It also objectifies women and gets in the way of one seeing a woman's inner beauty because we become obsessed with outer beauty. Those are some negatives of masturbation.

Some positives of being free from masturbation are that you'll feel better about yourself, women, and the world in general. Also, you'll begin to see women as human beings again. Another positive is you'll never have to hide your browser history again. I even went out and got a new phone and a new iPad and I can say I've never viewed porn on those devices and never will. You'll be able to let people use your devices without secretly being uncomfortable because they're using what is effectively your masturbation machine. Finally, if you're at all religious or spiritual, you'll finally be free of this horrible sin which will improve your relationship with God.

One tip I have is to use the 'PANIC BUTTON' in the top right corner of this page. Feeling aroused? Use the panic button. Feeling depressed? Use the panic button. Rejected? Panic button. Seriously, use it. Just keep clicking until you find something that works for you. There's lots of good stuff there.

Also, avoid stimulating media. If you catch a glimpse of something, look away, take a deep breath, and try to remember what you're fighting for.

    Good luck!

May I ask how many times you've relapsed so far since you're trying to quit? I'm not asking to demean you.
