Never look back

So this is all quite new to me..a real newbie. I am 48 yo and have been addicted to porn since around the tender age of 10. Crazy I know but it's like this.. My most recent partner left me in April after 4 years, although there was love it was not what she wanted, due to fap and porn which I had kept a close guarded secret. I decided to see a psychotherapist which lead to some blocked memories being brought to my attention, my brain has for 40 years covered the facts... I had been sexually abused as a child and introduce to porn. Yes my brain had put this awful fact out of my consciousness. I am trying to come to terms with the shame and hurt that I have caused my previous partners. Whilst realising the initial cause was not my fault! I have joint this forum as I need support to rebuild my life, they say it begins at 50... Hopefully a little sooner.

From today I never want to look at porn or slip one off ever again.
