    Hi guys!

I'm a 23 old man, who struggling with porn addiction. Its really hard to me to write/speak about it.

The main problem, that forced me to try NoFAP, is that (because of porn) my life is starting to fall apart. The mental symptomps i noticed makes me worried: lot of confusion, lack of focus, anxiety, (COVID quarantine makes it worse tho). I tried to stop watching porn last spring for a month, it worked, but after that period i relapsed, and got into deeper.

My personal relationships (except my family and some colse friends) are terrible. Its really hard for me to create new relationships, especially to get a girlfriend. I want to improve this, and start dating, after i did the reboot.

I hope this time, with the community support it will be more succesful.

    Let the journey begin.

  2. That's mostly a common curriculum here in nofap (About terrible relationship outside family). don't be worried to talk with us of the forum about addiction, because there is people that are like you. Being conscious of this is a great step. my mom accidentally found one of my book about porn addiction (It was called in my language: Ideology of pleasure) but she didn't ask.

Brain fog, little drive to pursue healthy relationships, and anxiety are all common symptoms among PMO addicts. Glad to see you've found your way here and decided to make improvements to your life. Remember that many people on this forum struggle with the same kinds of issues you do, and will sympathize with you should you decide to share more about your journey.

Welcome! Thank you for sharing your story!
Does somebody know about your addiction? My best advice is: confession. You need to talk with somebody about your addiction. That was the 1st step I made to start my recovery. You should start to think about a person, a really good friend or family member who you trust and love. It gonna take time, courage and it gonna be sooo hard and embarrasing to do it but also gonna be sooooooo healing. Don't save anything, be clear and say it loud, it took me 6 years to do it but when I did it.. my life changed..
PLEASE first go sober.. It gonna take months or years and gettin a girl doesn't help to "cure" this addiction.. You can find hundreds of threads here talking about it.. it helps the first months to stop it but our brains always wants more and more and get high of dopamine and there's a moment that we just go back to porn sooooo keep working in your sobriety and maybe in some years you can start a relationship.
What's your first goal? Set a realistic goal. Maybe 15 days to start.. then 30, then 60 and then 90 days.
I really really hope you can reach your first goal and do what you need to do to start..
    Good luck!
