    Hello,

I have realized through trial and error (and relapse) that my current p blocker has some glitches:

    - the app that I use does not work when I connect to certain wifi networks. I e-mailed the company/app and they told me it has something to do with the wifi network's VPN connection.
    - the app will continue to not work if I keep the p website open on my phone after I have left the network. For example: I connect to a wifi network, open up p pictures or videos, keep the tab open, leave that network, and then still able to continue searching for more/new p now using my data instead of just being able to access p in that specific wifi network.
    - if I dig hard enough, I can find p pictures on an already restricted reddit.
    - aside from connecting to certain wifi networks and the occasional photo on reddit, the app works very well and has been very helpful to me.

I know the simple answer here is to be more disciplined, but it would really help to have a more reliable blocker. I am currently using a Samsung galaxy S9. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I use an app called Blocker/X (without the / but for some reason the site blocks the full name) and yeah, it isn't perfect but it works for me, its biggest problem is that you can just turn if off on the accessibility settings (since it relies on reading text from the screen) but maybe you can block the settings app with a password and have a friend set the password.

You could change the dns server on your phone so that it filters stuff before it even gets to your phone. Go to your settings and search for 'private dns' and then you want to put 1dot1dot1dot3.cloudflare-dns.com for the private dns hostname. You can still go back in and turn it off. Here's more info: https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/03/26/make-android-use-dns-server-choice/
