When we complete the reboot and our dopamine receptors are resensitised and everything is back to normal.
Hypothetically, So if we begin to pmo again.so this the damage done to receptors will be more or less?

Like when our skin gets peeled, so when new skin comes the new skin will be thicker than old skin, is it true with dopamine receptors too?
This time they will take longer to get desensitized?

    That's an odd question haha....

The real damage is when it develops back into a fullblown habit. I heard of many relapsers (particularly smokers) that quit for a number of months or years then relapsed, binged, repeat cycle.

I don't think the same process would take place in for hormone receptors. Firstly, because your skin's main function is to protect you from harmful outside influences, where as hormone receptors aren't. And secondly, the way I understand it, there's not actually any physical damage being caused to the receptor. Rather the brain just turns receptors off/reduces the amount of them in an attempt to regulate whatever hormone it's getting too much of.

Interesting question . I feel that you would really have to go back to watching porn again for you to lose all your progress .
