Hello, im kevin 27 years and from the netherlands.

i've been addicted to porn since i left school(University) (21 years)
i have been watching porn and mastrubate to it about 2 - 3 times a day. im 27 now.
when i had sex with 2 woman about 3 months ago, (not both at once but 1 week in between) the first 2 minutes where fine, but i noticed my dick could not stay hard and the sex was kinda meh, i didnt feel horny at all, it just didnt turn me on.

i came to think that Porn has twisted my mind and created a pixel desire for me.
i want this gone, i want to enjoy woman again, the feeling of having sex.
and stay hard for the time spending with her.

i have read and noticed first hand that Porn can create ED, and it's no fun.
im not totally against mastrubating like some seem to be on here, i think once a week without the use of porn and only go by sensation is fine.

But ya, the problem is, i think i first need to do the reset of 90 days to let my body heal itself and get my view of woman straight again.

i really would like some tips and tricks you guys are using :) as im pretty new to this,
i know its gonna be hard because ive been mastrubating on porn for so long for 2 - 3 times a day.

But i know something needs to change, and i hope i can do it with the help of you guys :)

If you have something to add please let me know.

i am starting tomorrow when i wake up :) .

    ======================================
    side note:
im an IT guys and i have found a nice DNS service that blocks Malware and Adult content on the web.
Its Cloudflare and is totally free
    DNS 1: 1.1.1.3
    DNS 2: 1.0.0.3

They block about everything porn related, and turns Safesearch automatically on on search machines :)

  2. Hey,

One thing that stands out to me is how easy it is to get complacent. I find it's good to come straight here if any urges crop up, even if it's just to read other peoples success stories.

Routine is good. I was on annual leave this week and had nothing planned so I felt like I've wasted a lot of time and it can be hard to maintain an interest in nofap of you're bored or have nothing to do.

Keep a journal. It's nice to look back and observe your progress.

Good luck with your journey determination is key and keeping an overall objective in mind regarding the reason you are doing this.

Best thing as you gotta get into hobbies and activities that have absolutely nothing to do with sex, be fishing, hunting bike riding, reading blogging, exercising or whatever it may be you gotta preoccupy your mind with something other then you know what on the damned old internet. And the thing of masturbation is a choice, no one here is against personal satisfaction done in the right way without porn or anything illegal like escorts, some choose to have no porn as there goal, some no porn and masturbation, and yes some choose to not orgasm with the other 2 in tow at all, it's whatever your personal goal is. Mine I choose no porn and masturbation, but I see no harm in prostate orgasms bc you do not look at porn or another stimulation, none is needed, your by yourself and you don;t even touch your dick, so yea do what is best for you, but for everyone here porn is the big NO NO.

Well as of now its going good,
But its getting hard, its ofcourse a big change from my routine, but i found myself picking up taking a walk in the forest again.

its also hard because my friends and coworkers show/share little porn videos of woman dropping their boobs. Or sexual stuff they think is funny..

they dont seem to accept it when i say im not interested in that stuff anymore.

i have noticed what kind of effect porn has on mu coworkers and friends, they constantly talk about woman genitals, boobs, and they are all whores and sluts...

    it upsets me.

Well its hard but this first day went well and im happy with it

well then it might be time to outside of work to associate yourself with more positive ppl, try to explain to your friends that what they show you hurts you and it;s your choice and if they continue then maybe their not really friends at all. Friends always have each others back no matter what and they should be the same, As for work I can distance myself from others as I am by myself in a truck for most of the anyways. If you cannot then maybe try to change things up a littls bit where not as easy to socialize with.

Hey man I'm glad you've found this place. You will find lots of solid advice here and also on r/pornfree on reddit in the concrete advice section for newbies
    I'd suggest you
Meditate 5 Minutes Daily and slowly increase
    Sleep Early every day
Do not entertain sexual thoughts, don't fantasize, don't edge
Find something that involves exercise that you like : Running,Basketball ,Biking
Structure your day. It is very important to be structured. Not every minute but to have a general idea of how you will spend your day
Identify your triggers and try to create lots of friction between you and porn.
Change your environment as well. If you have some spot where you masturbate remove that chair or change the layout of the room as sitting down is an indirect cue for your brain to PMO
I'd suggest Atomic Habits by James Clear as it is a Lifesaver

    Well i relapsed today,

after 3 days the urge was too strong and i mastrubated Without porn, but i was not able to hold my erection and get off, so i walked to my computer, disabled the security and started watching softporn so i could get off.
although i don't see it as a massive failure as 3 days is big for me, i was used to 2 - 3 times a day.

i have reset my counter and will start counting again.
i will do a No PMO for as long as i can, the goal is to reach 90 days ofcourse.

im just in a bit of a struggle, will it really help with ED, and will it really help me keeping my erection during real sex??? thats the question i ask my self many times.

i know that i take medicines that lowers my Libido, but im sure thats not an issue as i can still be able to stay erect when watching porn and get off.

maybe i have to flip the switch and just think i need those 90 days to recover.
but also thinking, what happens after the 90 days? is Mastrubaing fine again? (maximum of 1-2 times a week?)
or is it just best to wait till i have actual real sex?

I live in the netherlands, so paid sex is totally legal in my country.
i can only afford it maybe once every 2 - 3 months.

i want to really fix my physical problems, and get the enjoyment of porn out of my head, so i can enjoy real sex and woman again

well good job and a start, everyone has to start somewhere and 3 days is an achievement, this time go for 2 weeks, then a month, don't try to do the whole 90 days at once kevs. Pus alot ppl don't masturbate at all, but I think after 90 days of no pmo and starting to get we wired I personally don;t see the harm in masturbation by yourself with no porn or images, this is normal function of the body and me personally think it could help you to get back to the way you were before porn. Lucky you about the escorts, lol, I live in US where it is illegal but in one city, Wish you luck.

i failed, after 2 weeks, my urge to see a woman naked was really high, and i made the common mistake saying just a picture is fine.... it was not, i felt really sad after it,
i will try again so i've reset my counter.
altho i have to say, at first a few days was hard, it's getting alot better..... when i didnt watch porn for so long, my perspective changed, and i noticed that i was liking normal woman again :)
and the extreme P i used to watch really disgust me now.

  10. Get used to pain and suffering, don't shy away from it. Quitting addictions is hard and miserable, but try to find small things that make it just a bit easier.

Setting a goal is probably your first step. The majority of the suffering comes from wanting two conflicting things at the same time: the temporary pleasure of watching porn and the long-term pleasure from not watching porn. As you get better at fighting urges, this suffering will diminish over time.

Try to strategize your day. Schedule your most important priorities and new skill building activities in so that not only you have good structure to keep you from deviating, but when you do deviate, you can identify which times of the day you are most vulnerable in and what you can do to correct them.
