Hey all. I'm 34 and have recently had my own reckoning with porn/masturbation etc.

I don't know where it all started - close as I can figure, it was between the ages of 10-12 when I discovered the wonders of late night "Skinemax" at a relative's house. As I got older and into my teens, the addiction had me moving into pics & 'literotica'. In high school, I became more aware of how socially awkward I was and this became sort of like a crutch. In college, the problem continued and accelerated sort of - where I moved on to videos and was masturbating multiple times a day, whenever I could get a free moment almost.

It wasn't until I was almost out of there that I connected my use of porn to my social development, but by then, I didn't really care.

Fast forwarding a bit, once I had moved out into my own place, gotten my own job and got things settled was when the addiction *really* took hold. I discovered the wonders of online dating with Tinder, Bumble etc, but despite a few dates and such, nothing really happened. With that, I sort of dug myself a hole and convinced myself that being past 30, I was never going to get a girlfriend, let alone get married. I threw up my hands and just left myself at the mercy of my addiction - checking out PornHub and/or masturbating whenever I felt the urge.

A few months ago though, a random Tinder encounter led to something more and eventually I *did* get a girlfriend. At the same time, I had moved out of my apartment & back to my parents (am getting close to diving into the housing market) and started spending more and more time up at her place. With all that, I had inadvertently started my first 'reboot' if you will (as I didn't have the time/privacy to watch any porn or masturbate)

That brings me right up to the present and why I'm here.

My GF has an extremely high sex drive. Not only have I found it hard to match her level of desire, I've found it hard to get/stay hard period.

At first as I was rebooting, things started off slowly.........the only problem I had was delayed ejaculation (where it just took me a while to reach orgasm). This past weekend though was filled with sex--3 to 4 times in a relatively short time span. Saturday night though was when I started having trouble getting hard and so I watched a porno just long enough to get there and close things out for the night.

Sunday night and last night was when it really came to a head. Things got heated with the GF and I just wasn't up to the task--literally. She obviously noticed and and after some discussion said I should go see someone (am going to call my Doctor later this morning here).

I've steadfastly told her that I have no clue what's wrong with me. The realization that I probably have PIED came upon me slowly though and naturally, I'm hesitant to mention that this might all be tied into my past porn consumption. Hopefully, with help from my doctor in the short term + a commitment on my part to do a long term (90 day I'm thinking) challenge/reboot, I can wipe out the PIED and put this behind me
