New Member! Put in the work...

Greetings all,

I will be brief. I am a 25 year old young man now focused on my purpose. I have known about the NoFap community for quite some time and have made several attempts to end PMO but was unsuccessful in the past. Being honest with myself, basically I wasn't putting in the necessary work to stop the habit.

Being honest again, (In my own eyes) I was a terrible human being in my younger years (18-25). These were the years that I was absolutely and completely lost. I drank alcohol excessively, watched porn excessively, got into absolutely significant amounts of personal debt, and when I did have a woman in my life I didn't appreciate what they did for me other than the sex. Having the few short years alone since my last relationship, I have went off the grind until now, to deeply self reflect on my life and what went wrong all those years, what I did or failed to do, and I finally could feel the difference physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and financially, of taking ownership of the burden of responsibility for my-own-adult-life as a man. Hindsight is indeed 2020.

My goal is no PMO and to be on SR. I am ready to learn more about recovery, and to have like minded individuals that understand what I am going through to communicate with.
