    hello, I am new to the forum. I need your help. I am single 23 years old. I have been addicted to masturbating for years together. Things got out of hand. Exactly 2 weeks ago I decided to stop masturbating. I’ve spotted something that people are supposed to gain by improving their well-being. I myself am often anxious but I have no real cause. I also sought psychotherapeutic help. I also masturbated 5 or 6 times a day. All together without effect and pleasure. When I masturbate I always have a sense of guilt but not because of faith or anything like that. To date, I have not masturbated for 14 days. But today it caught me and I tried anyway. I masturbated 2 times today. I’m a little sorry I made a mistake. However, I decided to go ahead with abstinence. If anyone describes their experience with NoFap, I thank them in advance.

    Hey man, welcome! Good for you, trying to quit PMO using NoFap. I read some incredible experiences from people on this forum, so here comes a reality check: so far, I don't see much changes. I have used porn since I was 14 or so (am 24 now), have experienced PIED a couple of times when I was with a woman, and have found that PMO takes away my drive to search for real-life partners (hence, I never had a serious girlfriend). I did not masturbate multiple times a day (and sometimes 'only' once every two-three days) but it is still affecting me enough for me to want a change.

    I think we all have to see for ourselves what porn does to us, and how abstaining can change life for the better. Good luck on your journey! If you want to share more experiences, feel free to dm me. I would also advise you to set a day-counter so you can track your progress, and join a challenge, just for fun!
