    Hello
    I’ve struggled for years with porn addiction. I’ve tried several times to stop with varying degrees of success.
    I’ve decided to join nofap to find more support to stopping my addiction. I’ve come seeking help after my wife caught me watching porn. This was deeply embarrasing, it was like one of my greatest fears came true. We talked and she was very supportive, on the condition I took action to stop.
    I find great encouragement in reading the resources here and seeing people going through the same struggles.

    Welcome, you are doing a great thing by reclaiming your life. You are a lucky son-of-a-gun to have a supportive and understanding wife. Most men feel they don't and stay hidden in shame.

    Continue to be honest and vulnerable, it will pay off. Set some goals, conquer those then set some more. You have worth, you can be what you want to be. Believe in yourself.

    Your wife showed empathy towards your problem, that is a wonderful start. You said that you have already tried to quit, this means there is motivation in you.

    We are all in the same boat, each of us has its port, but the destination is the same. See you around.

    Thank you for your kind words. It is always good to be reminded how lucky I am to have my partner in my life.
    Being pushed out into sharing my addiction was very hard but just may be the push I need to kick it for good.
