Is it considered a reset when you are dreaming and you actually realize you are about to have a wet dream but you continue anyways?

I'm new to the forum but not exactly to nofap. Over the past year Ive had some success. My longest streak being 19 days, and i managed to drastically reduce fapping to once a week and once everyother day which is significantly better that what I was doing. I understand and have experienced some of the benefits and Im going for the long haul. I dont have a long term goal really, i just want to go until i dont care to fap anymore and then keep going.

    Welcome :)

I don't really understand what you are talking about. You don't know your dreaming and you have no conscious control over them so how can you realize what's about to happen?

A wet dream is the bodys natural way of releasing sperm so just let it happen, it's the normal way of doing it.

what I'm talking about is what if you do know that you are dreaming and you do decide to have sex with a random person because you can control your dreams. I mean sometimes I'm at a party and I know I'm in my dream and I can decide to turn down a girl but instead I don't because I know I'm not watching porn and this is probably the closest thing I can get. it's like I'm making my own porn in my head in my sleep sometimes. but it doesn't always lead to a wet dream. I feel like its a form of cheating. I mean I don't always have control in my dreams, but for the ones that I do and I choose to have sex even though I know it's not real, is that worthy of a reset?

Ah! I think I understand you, you're talking about lucid dreaming right?

Well, If your choosing to engage in sexual acts then it does require a reset as you have decided engage in it, just like you choose to watch porn

And yes, I would say it is a form of cheating as you are choosing to have sex with someone else, rather than your partner.

Alright thanks! I realized this last night I had a dream and when I realized what I was doing I stopped and walked away. But then I wondered if I have the power of control and I choose to give in, if thats a reset. Thanks man!
