    Greetings friends
I'm not really new here but this new account is my newest attempt and this will be the successful one therefore, I won't reveal my previous account name - this is a clean slate.

What about me well, I'm 33 this year and I've been a furious masterbator since discovering pornography when I was about 10. I've long since realized the negativity of my behavior but stopping or changing has been the greatest struggle of my life - waxing and waning between deep depression and a non chalent attitude about the problem which has never contributed to any long term success.

I've often felt because I'm cognizant of the problem, I can fix it on my own but it hasn't worked out that way. I'm proud at least that I've completed alot of self realization but I'm also now aware that I need to tap into the knowledge of people who have succeeded before me.

I'm here and I'm a pretty open person. I'm very talkative and I'll probably wind up contributing to a wide array of topics , hopefully making some friends along the way.

Advance thanks for welcoming me again - This is the year of success.

  3. Welcome to NoFap. Think of your challenge with PMO as a growth opportunity rather than a problem.
Learn to require your brain and the rest will be plain sailing. You got this!

Welcome, thanks for sharing your story..
Does somebody know about your addiction? My best advice is confession. You need to talk with somebody about your addiction. That was the 1st step I made to start my recovery. A really good friend or family member who you trust and love. It gonna take courage and it gonna be sooo hard and embarrasing to do it but also gonna be sooooooo healing. Don't save anything, be clear and say it loud. This can save your life, trust me.
Also you should check this post: https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?t...te-my-dopamine-receptors.166287/#post-1410049 IT HELPED ME A LOT.
What's your first goal? 1 week? 1 month? 3 months?
At this time of our life the key to go sober is DISCIPLINE! One day at a time.

    - Does anyone know
Hell no, and if anyone suspects, I don't want to know if they know.

I understand what your saying and I'm glad it was good for you but I don't think that's something I could share. While it is a shame I carry, I believe it's the result of my own actions, it's my Burden to bare, mine to fix and mine to keep private. Outside of the anonymity this forum offers, I won't ever share these details.
