    Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum after reading an article on metro and thought this was the place for me,
    A little about me, I'm a recovering drug addict who has been sober for the last 2 years, stimulants were my thing and I enjoyed nothing more than taking loads of drugs and just jerking off for hours and hours on end, The porn started out pretty standard but got stranger and more perverse as my arousal got harder to satisfy. I quit drugs two years ago but my porn addiction has stayed. I masturbate pretty much whenever i get the opportunity. I'm currently in a five year relationship with my girlfriend and we have a baby together. My sexual relationship with my partner has suffered massively, we havnt had sex for a long time, my libido is so depleted when it comes to sex, and i find normal sex doesnt get me off like porn does. Worst of all she thinks I dont masterbate and that I just have a generally low sex drive,
    Everytime i jerk off i feel guilty and worthless, (a lesser man).
    Im currently on day 4, I really want to start having sex again.
    Two questions;
    What's PMO?
    What's rebooting?
    Thanks
    Jarud

  2. Hi Jarud

    I recommend you read this:
    https://nofap.com/porn-addiction/
    Also there's a page with some glossary:
    https://nofap.com/glossary/
    PMO is porn masturbation orgasm,

    Reboot: Also called “rebooting.” The process of restoring your brain to “factory defaults.” Verb meaning abstinence from sexual behaviors, namely the use of porn, but often also masturbation and sex. Said to take 90 days or longer, by anecdotal reports.

    Good luck!
