    I just hate it.Before I sleep I always have this need to masturbate,I would wake up in the morning feeling confident and strong but only for masturbation thoughts to enter my mind.I dont watch porn because I never did,so i just dont get it,am not depressed ,yes i dont have a girlfriend but that is not a problem because my religion is against fornication. I don't know why it keeps creeping in my head.I only just masturbated for a week in my lifetime but yet the attachment is so strong.i want to break free .I dont want this newly developed habit to continue next year that is why I joined nofap only one week into masturbation. Please forgive my English it isn't my first language.

    You are normal. These thoughts are with many men.
    Many people masturbate before they sleep. Doing it every single night is probably not a good idea. I think if you used a little more will power you can stop. But do not be upset or feel shame, you are a healthy guy.

    It is not normal to masturbate. It is a very new behavior started in the western world a few decades ago.

    Zoophila too. Just because something existed does not make it common or normal. Masturbation behavior in humans only exploded very recently.
