No benefits

  1. To anyone out there, please give me some advice, I feel like I'm drowning here! :( Day 27 of reboot. I have received almost no benefits over this reboot. Found my computer. I had originally told my mom to hide it where I could never find it so I could increase my productivity. However, my mom didn't hide it in a place where I couldn't find it, so when I went looking for it today, I found it. I either need her to hide it well, or find a new solution which I can do myself, otherwise this won't work. Please advise. Getting urges to masturbate and/or touch myself, or watch porn a lot now. I can't manage to study for more than a few hours a day usually, so I need some way to up my productivity. However the good thing is I have been studying GR every day for at least an hour. Hope I can solve these problems. :( Please advise! Additionally, I'm thinking of stop touching my penis at all except when I shower. I have not been masturbating or stimulating myself or watching porn, but many times I touch it experimentally, which really needs to stop. I need more self control. I haven't noticed many benefits from this whole hard mode thing. I didn't masturbate that much to begin with, perhaps every two or three days. However, I am receiving almost no benefits, except for a little more productivity and consistency. Maybe it is because I have moderate autism, so my brain is wired very differently from other people's brains. I also need to start my exercise and healthy eating and water drinking again, because I haven't done that in a week. Please advise, I'm begging! :(

    Hi @HopeThisWorks111, have you tried web filters (like K9) ? you won't need to hide your computer since you won't be able to access unwanted sites anyway. Also don't unnecessarily surf the web because you'll eventually land on a trigger. From my experience, having urges to touch yourself or having porn cravings is NORMAL during reboot. I think the solution may lie in focusing your attention elsewhere. Maybe make a schedule which accommodates your studies, exercise and everything else you've wanted to do and focus ONLY on STICKING TO THE SCHEDULE. The busier your mind is, the less chance it gets to think about porn.

  4. I'm not an expert, but I've read many times from experienced fapstronauts that you usually don't see the benefits until you relapse. When you relapse you realize what you have actually lost. It's probably because you are slowly getting benefits, and you can easily adapt to them. But if you relapse you will feel your energy levels dropping down and your motivation and mental clarity going away...
