I remember last year October 29th.
I cannot forget it, I got so pissed by procrastinating everyday
I was like aw man i relapsed on 2nd, I'll start my streak from 10th etc.
on 29th I had enough of it and just started my streak.
Coincidentally I learnt about this No Nut November thingy.
Now it was not just me not fapping for my improvement, it was me not fapping for the challenge.
I decided to give this a try, anyway I can fap again on december 1st.
And damn I blew up in all my skills after the 3rd week.
Girls started chatting, Bullying was no more an issue, I could easily defend myself from the strongest dude in class.
    Damn.
I got overconfident and watched porn and even bragged about how I didn't relapse this january
But yeah i got the images of the porn and eventually fapped and blew my streak
I got back on track on may.
I'm not having the same benefits but I can assure you I'm not getting suicidal and depressed due to NoFap and gym.

Hope this No Nut November helps all these struggling Fapstronauts reach their goals.

  2. Porn is a negative thing for the most part, and masturbation has it's downsides too compared to proper sex, sure; nofap is a beneficial thing. But semen retention is a whole new next level. There's tons of beneficial hormones flowing through your veins when you avoid ejaculation and orgasm altogether. All that is dissipated when we "nut".

I'm honestly not a fan of no nut november. People treat real addiction as a joke where they'll theoretically go a month without (I bet which none of these teenage guys that just joke about no nut November even do). Then it just makes everyone want to "destroy dick december" on December first and waste all their progress. Also, it makes people indulge much on Halloween night thinking to get it all in before no nut November. I think it's just an unfunny meme that makes people proud bragging to their friends that they fap and they're gonna do the "challenge" when you know damn well they don't think anything is actually wrong with the porn lifestyle.

  7. I read this post yesterday in the morning but didn't get it. At night I entered Reddit and found this Screenshot post as top in the u/memes subreddit, so I got it.

  8. So true. Really man I think NoNutNovember really doesn't have anything to do with nofap. There's tons of porn challenge videos to fap to, that you're supposed to beat by holding back, and there's even a fetish about not nutting. I'm not sure whether NNN started from nofap, but either way now it is it's own monster...

Meanwhile here at nofap forums, every month is a November!

  9. If you don't have a plan to go further than that then don't even start. I mean.. No nut November. What about December? Bust a fat nut? Pfffff....
But No nut November is a great starter for becoming nofappers, so yes... A good challenge indeed.

Doesn't that bring the fact that they have an addiction to their attention? If they fail after a few days or a week, or even if they make it to the end of the challenge but find it extremely challenging.
And 30 days is usually enough time to see some benefits.

I don't know what effects no nut november has on the society, but to me it gives so much more motivation and willpower that right now after a long phase of relapsing repeatedly I think it's a blessing. Two days gone without any difficulty and I feel confident that I'll make it to one month and beyond.

  15. Seems like a social media trend more than anything. Not sure how many people take it actually seriously.

even if 1 person out of 100 takes it seriously, its still a lot of people considering the amount of addicts.
So I guess its a good thing after all. Like who'd wanna lose the amazing results they got from a 'social media trend'?

  17. I think majority people just look at it as a challenge but are back to their old habits after a month if they even stick with it.

  18. I agree. If you decide to participate in that challenge, just for fun, and you realize you literally can't even go a day or two without porn, then that might make you realize that's a problem.

I mean, I've always thought porn was wrong, but when I started trying to stop using it, and I realized it was extremely hard for me to even make it two days, that scared me. That really showed me how serious of a problem it was.

And also, what about people who make it the 30 days and realize they feel better than they ever have, and they want to keep going? That might show some people that porn has a negative effect on their life, if they feel so much better without it.

I think like anything else, a lot of people will use this to mock others. But for some people, it might be a learning experience. And it's at least presenting abstinence as a viable option in life, which is pretty cool in my opinion. I'm honestly shocked that anything suggesting abstinence of any kind has become a mainstream idea. People generally reject any mention of abstinence instantly as a ridiculous and impossible standard. Which is silly, because it's very possible, and has a ton of benefits.
