    What is the 10 DAYS CHALLENGE ?

    - The challenge is easy and clear, you must reach 10 DAYS of no PM (Porn and Masturbation)

    RULES

    Preparation :
    1 IMPORTANT!. To begin, you must clean your computer, cellphones and any storage devices (such as hard disks, pen drives) of any video or porn picture.

    2.- You must throw away any porn DVD you have at home, job or office

    3.- You must cancel any porn subscription (website, magazine) you possibly have.

    When you achieve the 3 first rules you can pass to the third rule :

    4.- You must start on day 0 and you should post preferably every day in this thread until you reach 10 days.

    5.- If you relapse, you can begin the challenge again

    When you reach 10 days, you leave this thread forever. That's all.

    I deleted almost 1 Tera byte of porn, compiled in more than one year of wandering various paying porn sites...

    34 days of no PM!, first two weeks were difficult, but now is easier.

    Day 1 of challenge: Bit of a tough day to get through; I was a bit overheated and had a headache, but overall not too bad! I expect that once I get onto later days the urges will creep up on me and the real challenge will begin. For now, however, I will still keep my vigil up while enjoying this short time of peace.

    Day 2 of challenge: Not too bad, still going strong. It was a bit hard going to bed yesterday; I guess that was the first official urge of this streak. My real challenge has previously been staying up late, to where I'm too tired to resist urges. Tonight, I plan to go to bed right when I get home from work, so that there's no chance of my relapsing.

    Okay i just started. I did look at porn but didnt masterbate. So do i have to start tomorrow then or first the day? I turn the porn off completely.

    I'd say it depends on your goals. If you're goal is to not look at porn or masturbate, then you would logically want to start at a day 0. However, I know that myself and many others fall into the trap of wanting "the perfect streak", so that any form of weakness or messing up resets their counter. This, in turn, makes certain that almost every streak dies early. I'd say that if it were me, I would look at the particulars of the situation and decide if the looking at porn was worthy of resetting my counter (think, 5 secs of peeking vs. 5 minutes of watching).     This is the most challenging thing. I have ever done. Im on day 2 its been really hard on me.

    Day 3 of challenge: Ramping up a bit now, still not too bad though. I'm getting the sort of half-tired feeling that seems to always seduce me into relapsing, but thanks to this challenge, I'm staying stalwart for once. I'm going to try to get to bed earlier than normal tonight, since I usually see that I relapse around 11:00pm. Here's to tomorrow!

    Day 4 of challenge: Alright, the urges have officially begun, and that means that I need to start being more aware of my thoughts and more careful about my actions. These urges seem to think, like, three steps ahead, so I really need to be on top of my game if I want this streak to last. Like last night, I'm going to try to make tonight short and get to bed early if I can, so that hopefully I can avoid any late-night urges that tend to pop up. Staying strong!

    Day 5 of challenge: I managed to get to bed at a really early time (for me anyway) last night, although I can't say the same for tonight. I had work this evening, so I didn't get home until a bit later than I would have liked. Nonetheless, I'm going to only stay up for a short while more to eat dinner and unwind with some video games, before heading to bed in a timely manner. Bedtime seems to be one key factor for me in avoiding relapses and I want to account for that, especially going into the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, I need to be especially on my guard tomorrow because, aside from work, I have quite a bit more free time than normal. Hopefully, I can manage to get through it; I will certainly try.

    Day 5, cont'd: I'm heading to bed now, although I've got urges to stay up and play video games. I know from experience, however, that staying up in this manner erodes what little willpower I have left and leaves me extremely susceptible to urges. Not tonight. I
    m heading up to bed and leaving my phone downstairs, so I won't relapse in bed. Here's to tomorrow and a successful weekend!

    Day 6 of challenge: Quite a tiring day today; I can feel my defenses already lowered. I'm going to bed early tonight both to get up early tomorrow and to avoid relapsing tonight in my tired state. There were significantly more urges today than previously, but I'm proud to have survived a Saturday for once. Tomorrow should prove even more challenging, however, since I don't have work to keep me occupied. I'll try to get out into the woods geocaching or going to church to keep me away from my vices. Here's to tomorrow!

    Day 7 of challenge: I think I've done it! I'm not in bed yet, but so far so good. I went to church this morning and kept myself busy all day, and it paid off in that I've finally (almost) successfully survived a weekend! I can't remember the last time I've been able to say that! I'm going to finish up my video game and head (VERY carefully) to bed. WOOO!

    Day 8 of challenge: It's official: I've got 7 completed days under my belt! It feels like its been forever since I've been able to say that, and I am super grateful to @Phoenix666 for creating this thread to get me to that point! I've still got a few more days to go in the challenge, and I'm super excited to get there. I've noticed that my logs have been creeping later and later into the evening, so I'm going to try to post earlier in the day, so that I'm not susceptible to fatigue-urges before I post here. As for urges, they are certainly there, but I'm feeling myself getting better and better at evading them. This thread is also super helpful, since it is something specific I can think of if I ever find myself having questionable thoughts. Here's to the 7 days under my belt, and here's to many more!
