It's officially been one month since I last viewed any online porn and I am working towards double digits with no M-O.

I remember it well... February 15th, the day after Valentine's Day, lonely and full of self-pity. I had just completed ten days straight without either porn or masturbation, the longest ever that I had gone probably since I began jerking off as an early teenager, and I'm 52 years old! But I had saved a couple of rather innocuous classic pin-up girl pictures to a flash drive at work the week before... hey, "Art" right?... but on Sunday after Valentine's Day, I plugged in the flash drive to view the pin-up girl pics, then I started searching online for more pics of the same model, which led to viewing more models, then it was on. All the while telling myself that, oh well, one time won't hurt/matter, whatever. By the end of the day I had caved in four times, four furious sessions of PMO, and cursing myself. Totally sickened and disgusted by my relapse, yet it convinced me of the power of the addiction and how completely it had me. I had no control whatsoever once I started.

Moral of the story: DON'T GET STARTED and where I'm at: 30 days, no porn and beginning 6th day, NoFap as per my counter. Grateful for NoFap and all the support here. I really don't think I could be doing this on my own, but anyway, so glad I don't have to! God bless.

Fantastic to hear your progress - sharing you success is key to helping others and keeping you on the straight. Looking forward to 60 day! : )

  4. yes the same happens to me also, once I start it goes on.

Our mind always want to go into an auto-pilot mode. The best example is facebook- once you log in-like, comment, scroll. Never let your thoughts to take control over you. Do meditation. All the best.

Good for you. I agree with Ankur. Do not go on auto-pilot.

A big mistake after I finished my first 30 days was that I went on auto-pilot. PMO snuck itself in a sly way. Stay strong and keep focused on a goal. Do not relapse like me. I wish badly that I was in your position.

Congratulations. And do not fuck this up.
