I started practicing NoFap for about 5 years, so I want to share with you some things you can do to speed up the process,

The first point is that No PMO is not enough in the long run but you need to do the following:

  • You have to cut off listening to the music because it triggers your emotions by triggers a release of dopamine to the brain (You can try this for a week to see the difference)
  • You should also cut off social media as it is a waste of time that affects you emotionally and it takes you away from working on your goals.
  • Make good friends who share the same mindset as your
  • Set a list of short-term goals to accomplish (financially, physically, emotionally)
  • Find your future wife (Not a temporary girlfriend)
  • Exercise, exercise, exercise
  • Learn communication and social skills, public speaking is a must
 
Congrats mate! And you list some very good points!

However I want to address 2 of them though with respect.

Finding a wife not a girlfriend - Assuming the reader wants a wife, the best way is through trial and error with girlfriends. It's great to meet one girl and later marry. But we often learn more about women and ourselves and move on to better relationships. This may be especially true for someone starting later in life after a porn issue.

Music triggers dopamine - Yes it does. But dopamine by default is not bad. Is that what you meant? We need good levels of dopamine from healthy outlets. Smiling at people, reading a book, and indeed music. So long as it's music you enjoy and not trashy sexualised stuff obviously lol.

Agree with all other points and absolutely, NoFap success depends on a lot more than just avoiding porn!

The first one sounds so stupid. What music did you listen to...Cardi B? :) Music is a thing that I can't live without. It relaxes me, motivates and inspires me. Of course, if you listen to songs with explicit sexual lyrics...yeah, it might trigger you.

''Find your future wife.'' - Yeahhhhh...easy to say, hard to do. Especially in this modern world. You might need to date a lot of women to find your ,,soul mate''. Many people after years of relationships don't find the right person.
 
I really like this advice and wholeheartedly agree, especially music. It should be cut out in the beginning stages at least, until you feel like you’re in control of this addiction and have a good hold on your streak.

I can understand why he is telling us to quit music. These days music is engineered in such a way that it gets stuck in your head. But this doesn’t happen with old songs.
I hate it when you are in a serious situation ( like giving an exam) and there is a song stuck in your head.

I can totaly understand and agreed with uim

1. Find a wife, it means when u look at woman you didnt look in lustfull ways, instead look in her heart, behaviour, other positive inner things course beauty is a must but your deep purpose is to find a wife not a bang woman

2. Music will stuck in your head, immagine music like fuck bitch etc continue to loop in your head. I found no music is free of loop except music u find not ammusing but who want to listen to music they didnt like?

The part about cutting music sounds a bit nonsensical, music and dance have been known to help treat some of the worst cases of depression..... Studies have even shown that listening to music helps alleviate mood.
I agree with the social media part... It is not really beneficial.
Making a decision of getting wife won't really help you get rid of porn, sure it may improve your life, supposedly if you were actually looking to get married.

I tottaly agree wit all you say and add to that reading propriate books that nurish your mind and change of the way of thinking increasing your knowlidge and refresh your mind .

If I'm interpreting this right I think it is best said that your NoFap journey should involve goals that go beyond NoFap but that NoFap helps you to achieve. Secondly, the gains in self-control and self-esteem attained through NoFap should be applied to getting "ahead" in life. Whatever "ahead" means to you. Cheers on the streak champ! It's not a streak anymore it's a lifestyle!
