Nofap and memories

    When I do a period of nofap I seem to find I'm often flooded with lots of old memories, many that I haven't thought about for years. These are not porn/sex memories. They are not always even super important things but sometimes things from years ago that I haven't thought about for a long time.

    Does anyone else share this? Any ideas what this is?

    I think it's because our mind is free to think about something, whatever it maybe without porn. I don't feel old memories while on streak but do feel thoughtful about past and present.
