Nofap Convention?

Just thought to suggest this idea. Imagine we had a Nofap convention to spread awareness. Rent a small venue, go on a march, talking to people about our experience, making promo videos. It would be so cool to have something we could all participate in as a community. I think it would help connect people in a way the an iPhone screen could not. We could invite some of the biggest content creators in the NoFap and have some big names do motivational speeches. Not to mention we could get people to buy shirts and donate to help out the forums and any future endeavors we have as a community. I’m kind of excited for something like this which is why my ideas are kind of all over the place right now. We already have some small groups established in our community and I’m fairly certain that our market is diverse. Things like this of course take time and I do want to be very realistic. Right now I was just exploring the possibility we have with this platform.


We all have our struggles talking to people about the idea of porn addiction. Bringing this convention to light and showing the strong support this community has to offer will only help those who have backed away from help due to shame. We would be legitimizing a movement that is a polar opposite of the porn-produced culture we have today and would be proudly displaying the miracle work we are doing for the people afflicted by it.


Yes I just made a small case for starting the convention. Because the more I think of it the better it gets. I wanna hear what you guys think about a Nofap convention.

 

I also thought maybe we can do a walk or march. Similar to something like Walk for life. I love the suggestions you guys got with the sex Ed class

 

Just curious why you might think it’s cringey
