I read about some guy a while back on some rebooting site (not sure which one), who said that his varicocele had disappeared on a long Nofap streak, and I just wanted to confirm that it has helped me as well.

For those of you who don't know, a varicocele is basically an abnormal enlargement of the veins going to your (usually left) testicle. In extreme cases it can cause infertility, and in any case, it disturbs the bloodflow to your balls. It's not considered a very dangerous condition, but it can be really scary, because when you find a huge abnormal lump on your testicle, you immediately think of cancer.

    More on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varicocele

I've had this for at least 13 years (I first noticed it when I was 14), and lately it has shown significant improvement. I can barely notice it, when I feel around where it used to be, and even when it's noticeable (when blood packs into it), it's clearly a lot smaller than ever before.

I've treated it by applying ice wrapped in cloth on my balls every once in a while, so that might have helped as well, but it never has before I started Nofap. So, one more reason to keep going, basically :D

I've been doing it for 7 months with 1–2 relapses every month. I only started to see these improvements during this month. It's apparently also affected by exercise, and I have been working out a bit more lately, so that could also be a factor.

I had a varicocle for years.
Mine eventually progressed to a grade 3 and I needed surgery last year.
It wasn't painful but it caused me a lot of discomfort and made me very insecure. It looked awful.
But I still fapped all the time. Even a few days after my procedure I started rapping again and I could barely walk!
Looking back on moments like that I realise how weak and sad I was.

    Keep it up bro.
    I hope you see results.

Mine was also visible through the skin (I understood that's grade 3), when it was really packed with blood. I've been really insecure about it as well, and kind of scared.

But now, even when it swells up with blood, it's not visible, and it's clearly smaller. I know that surgery is considered the only real cure for it, but it really looks like my situation is improving. Has the varicocele been acting up for you since the surgery, or was it completely cured?

    So far all good.

But it took months and months for it to settle. It still hangs a bit low but that's normal. When I look back at photos it's completely gone. It really looked fucked up.

I'm only left with some varicose veins on my scrotum but they aren't very visible.
Of course I have a scar too which people think is great but I can live without it tbh

I also had a hydrocele when I was younger so I've been very insecure about that reigion for a very long time and I contribute it to pushing me towards my porn and fapping world.
I avoided sex at all costs. I believe my insecurity about it lead to my performance anxiety too

I hope it doesn't re-emerge at any point, and I wish you manage to get over all that negative shit caused by it. I know it can be a serious burden.

I also had a hydrocele when I was a teen so I haven't had much luck down there.

    Everything is better now thanks.
Nofap, ybop and this community have helped so much. I still have a long way to go. I'm going to need longer than 90 days but it's all good.

Try the nofap and see how yours goes. If it's still causing discomfort go see a urologist

    All the best bud

I also have a varicocele (left testicle). Got it checked out by a doctor, balls are healthy and no reasons to panic. Surgery is possible, but he would not recommend it in my case. I already considered it as normal and adjusted to it. We agreed to do a check up next year and see how it develops itself.

Started NoFap this month, 20 day streak and relapsed last weekend. Will keep this topic in mind and report any signs of improvement
