Just BTW: The URL with .org domain - www.nofap.org - does not work !

 

Why would anyone do it, its not like NoFap is harassing people or something

 

Could be a group that thinks they're having a little fun. Could be someone wanting "revenge", ie someone a while back spammed the board with images after getting into a argument with some of the members here. Someone suggested that it might have been orchestrated by someone in the porn industry. It's hard to say.

Have to say I missed having access. Didn't realize how much coming to the site to read and journal makes a difference in my day. 61 days today! Woohoo!!!

I've found having a support group via IM is good and that it is associated with a different common interest as well, it keeps it active.

 

That's right mate if people cannot afford to donate monthly, they can most certainly just make a one off donation. We need to be pro-active, we need to invest in this movement. Because our enemy is ruthless. They will cross every moral line if they can suck up some more money.

Ddos attacks work because most sites aren't expecting such a huge number of concurrent users that they don't plan ahead with powerful hardware (because they really don't need it) and when they get hit with the huge traffic....

thanks for posting this information, sad to hear that this place is being "targeted" though I know it's pretty common for online material anyway...thanks for keeping all of this up!!

 

If this site goes down it will become a Martyr. For sure it will inspire me even more to voice out against porn, as I am sure with a lot of members. I think our members should try and spread the word of NoFap around the web, as well as around their individual niches. Like on Yahoo answers when people ask is porn or masturbation bad, we should aggressively with all conviction give them the correct answer with a good use of reference from this site, as well as YBOP. We are tomorrow. We are the ones who have the power. Everyday the power is harvested in us, but will we use it for good? Or just flush it down the toilet? Long live NoFap, and everything it stands for.
