Hey, this is the first time I have tried NoFap, after 1 year of MOP everyday, I decided to stop cold turkey. Right now is the end of my 3rd day, I felt a lot of urges during the day and now is getting worse, I can feel a tingly (it's like a horney tingling) feeling from my chest to my knees, and a little pain under my stomach when I bend forward. That's making me think maybe the healthiest way could be to gradually stop masturbating but no porn.

What do you think I should do?

You'll gradually be back to porn.

Best way to undergo reboot is stay clean. That is not you talking, is the addiction.

Keep going the feelings will pass. If your going to quit you've got to deal with them eventually, may aswell be now.

  5. It's going to take some time for your body to reacclimatize itself, gradually weaning yourself off of p might seem like a good idea but it really is just a gateway to a slippery slope. Seriously, stick with it, don't give up.

You will feel depressed. You will feel periods of inexplicable mania. You will feel physically exhausted. You will get incredibly fucking horny. But, you need to be cognizant of the fact that this is a difficult addiction to overcome. If you are not willing to endure the periods of discomfort during your reboot, then you will relapse.

If you are looking for help with enduring this discomfort, you may resort to physical exercise, cold (not lukewarm, but rather, freezing) showers, meditation, or social interactions. When you are depressed, get your ass out of the house. When you're horny, do not browse the web alone. The key to a successful recovery is to avoid your triggers.

If you want to continue PMO for the rest of the life, you will never become fully receptive (either emotionally or physically) to a woman's love. You have a choice today, tomorrow, the day after that, etc. to not engage in PMO. It will be a daily battle when you initially attempt to overcome this addiction. However, as time passes, your will-power shall strengthen, and your self-control shall increase.

Good luck with your recovery. Don't stress if you relapse, but use it as a learning experience as to what triggered your relapse, and how you can prevent that trigger in the future. PM me if you would like an accountability partner. Peace, bro.
