Nofap really is something that can help us in many ways

  1. Passed a full year on hardmode a couple of weeks back and I can say from passing the severe withdrawals that porn addiction has done to me is something in the past and I can’t express the amount of happiness and self confidence I sense in myself and not having that shame of hiding anything. Porn is something that I see as a waste of time and not worth the time believe me. But I can say this to anyone having low hopes in fighting this terrible addiction, THERE IS HAPPINESS ON THE OTHER SIDE! believe me i still need another year to fully recover and I’m willing to do two years hardmode to remove the effects it has done since I’ve been addicted but I’ve never felt this happy in a while and it took me a while to get here but I just want to say Thank you to all of the moderators, staff, and aswell the founder for creating nofap in helping so many people become so much happier and better in our lifestyle thank you. fight through the anxiety, the lustful thoughts, the tempting triggers, depression, and INTENSE urges fight through every one if I can do it so can you! Fight it and beat it! Recovery takes time but it’s going the long road and patience that’s gonna help you succeed.

How long were your withdrawals, when you were going through them? I’m on day 69 and I thought by now that things would’ve got better.......

  9. Severe withdrawals were around day 200. That’s when the days were so bad that I couldn’t move my legs or sleep at night the urges were so intense but I fought through it and I’m glad I did never stop fighting it’s only going to make u stronger and more determined. Withdrawals was a couple of weeks. What helped me around that time was asking a lot questions, looking for motivation and looking at posts that were around one year or 200 days for motivation aswell, everyone is different as were all unique patience is key on your journey it’s what going to help u in this fight

I just want to say that these kind of posts actually made me realize it's possible. Who cares about doing 30-60-90 days? Real recovery takes 2 years, if you have been using for along time... unfortunately. Good job and thank you. Hopefully I can post something like this in the coming years.

  11. Absolutely 90 or 60 days isnt enough and I’m still recovering. I’m way more different than I was around 90 or 60 the longer u abstain the more u become aware of yourself and see the things that needs fixing or needs improving and overall become more stronger and self disciplined.

  12. Thanks for sharing your inspirational story of recovery. I will keep fighting too.

Hey we are both on day 13. Let's make it to 100!

  14. All the way to 100 bro!
I've started thinking the journey in vertical terms, climbing 100 steps up a mountain rather than walking horizontally across a 100 day timeline. I prefer the idea of climbing up a mountain because at least I'm already someway up the mountain. Whereas I feel like 100 days is so far away I can't even see it.

  15. I acctually made a post on reddit about nofap being as a mountain a while back “we start from the bottom of the mountain and the top is our happier successful disciplined lifestyle and we keep climbing until we reach the top as we climb up we can struggle and might fall back down but we try again until we reach the peak :)

    Well done brother.
How long were you addicted to PMO prior?
I am a recovering 10 year PMO addicting. I think I need a full year to fully recover.

  19. I’ve seen porn since a kid but it became into a addiction for 4 years until I found nofap and got myself into recovery but the withdrawals were insane and I’m glad I was able to pull through it
