Good morning my Fellow NoFap Brothers! First, thank you all for your amazing courage and dedication to your commitment to living a more responsive life towards sexuality and sexual energy. Your stories of ups and downs continue to bring inspiration to my own commitment, and so please keep sharing them. Second, I wanted to ask about alternative ways of seeing this challenge. I went to a talk about a year ago on something completely unrelated, and the theme of the keynote was how to make more social revolutions in academia. One of the things she talked about was how, in one indigenous movement she observed in Latin America, they had an idea of making the revolution fun and, a a result, it kept people involved. So I've been thinking about the role of "NoFap" in my own life as both an individual and a collective revolution (for it does affect everyone around us) that is not just mental or physical, but embodied (involving both). And this has also led me to ask, how have many of you been able to make the "NoFap, Yes Life" (my term :) ) as a fun revolution in your life for you and those around you? How have you made this revolution so enticing in your life that the temptation to go back to another way of living, while still present, is not as strong? And if not, how might thinking of this as a fun revolution be more beneficial to you during those days where the craving is strong? (Feel free to private message me if you also have thoughts about this as well.)

Good post mate! I remember writing the following down years ago when reading "Think on These Things" by Jiddu Krishnamurti ...

"The people who come together on the basis of political or religious authority, or to practice certain ideals, are all concerned with social reform, which is merely the decorating of the prison walls. Only the person who searches for truth is revolutionary."

...and to that I would add, in agreement with your post the idea that we must not fight the things we want to change (see Orwell's Animal farm!)

Therefore I for one am not 'anti' anything I don't want to see but 'pro' what I do. You might find this post interesting http://www.nofap.org/forum/showthread.php?2655-The-Way-of-Harmony

Yes there will be times when certain things need to be highlighted to enable us to make tthe choice to move beyond them but I do think wherever possible we should focus on creating what we want rather than what we don't. Like Gandhi said, " Be the change you want to see in the world", and I for one want to see a world that is loving, caring, sharing, forgiving, happy, light-hearted and yes, as you say, fun!! (and funny!):D;)

So I guess I for one am in total agreement with you mate and I really appreciate/respect your sentiments/intention:)
