Not just addicted to porn

    Every day for the past 5 years there is always a time that I would PMO and it has only gotten worse over time with 2 - 3 sessions a day. Now I'm constantly on social media, this could be my need for dopamine surge. What can I do instead that would lead to a better outcome of my situation that's I can feel better about myself by not PMO'ing and possibly relapsing and using my time better.

  2. Social media addiction is no better than the porn . The former has no limits of using while the later has.
    Now I’m struggling with giving up social media.

    With all that porn and pmoing how are you still triggered by pictures of women on social media and not looking for horse-on-girl or even horse-on-man scenes lol?

    Boy that is tough, I can't imagine every day like that - it must deplete you. Look around everywhere on this website, lots of things to take note of that could work. You have to try. It's so simple to say just don't do it, it's not that easy.

    I gave up social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I didn't just delete my apps, I deleted the accounts permanently. I deleted them all at different times, all more than 6 months now.

    I feel great. I have never felt so independent about my thoughts before. I use to compare myself to people I would see on social media or look at hot girls and literally just scroll for nothing. I would post and get self conscious and then delete the post. It was all bad. Getting off of Instagram has been the best one by far.

    I never got TikTok, and I rarely use Snapchat (Still have it though). If I could suggest one thing it would be to be active. No matter what the activity is, it does not have to be the gym, just get out there and do it. Walk, run, read a book at a park. My thing is the gym, I go every single day. That is my thing that keeps me disciplined and accountable with myself.

    Social media sucks, I am not going to tell you what to do but I will give you this. Getting rid of social media has been the best decision that I have made for my own mental health in sometime. Baby steps, now I need to conquer this PM crap.

    There is literally a thousand different things you can do in place of PMOing and social media. Whether or not you figure out what they are depends on how willing you are to change. Once you've really had enough the possibilities become endless.

    DELETE SOCIAL MEDIA. That's the best piece of advice I can give you. Social media accounts for most of the temptation. If you get rid of it you will get rid of most of your problems.
