They always leave that last part out, I wonder why. I rarely ever see the 2nd paragraph of the Serenity prayer. Would be nice if they kept it in so people can be more exposed to it. How are you doing Tao Jones?

 

One of my mates gave me that on a prayer card way before I was Christian i beleive when I was in psychosis wasnt that thankful at the time but this reminded me that might actually thank him for it now. It was a kind gesture.

 

Here are some different lyrics to that song. I like this version more b/c of the part I bolded below, which is why we have so much anxiety and why we often need to lean on our creator for direction and wisdom and for peace of mind. We can't do it all on our own.

Yes, it resonated to me too. It’s hard in this world, we have to keep some connection our God and creator to make it through and lean on him! A lot of things going on in this world I can’t make sense of, I’m leaning on God in terms of this world and my place in it. My body and life is based on his will and desires, guidance for me!
