Hello friends. I am posting on here for the first time in a few weeks. I stopped doing nofap a wile ago because it wasn't working for me. I've since joined an SAA group and wow it has been so helpful. I go to meetings every day and talk to a room full of people who are suffering from the same problem as me.

One thing I really like about SAA that is different from Nofap is that it is a one day at time program. This approach has been so helpful for me. Counting your days puts a label on your recovery, which I find unhelpful. There are people in these meetings that have 20+ years of sexual sobriety. Talking to these people face to face has been extremely helpful, and all of them tell me they did it one day at a time.

Focusing on one day at a time has changed my attitude about my recovery. I am an addict by nature, I always want more. When I am counting my days, the amount I have is never good enough. I wanted to share this incase anyone else is struggling to get clean and is looking for a different approach. Wish you all the best.
