After reading the reasons of relapses of fapstronauts and unfortunatelly after long streaks people still complain of some symptoms and conclude that nofap is not that usefull because they are facing the same problems even after quitting P , so one of the main reasons of those relapses is the lack of emotional intelligence
    let me talk shortly on this concept:
    First i would like to insist that there is an other type of intelligence more efficient in our life than the classic one because obviously when it concern addiction even the genius are disarmed , they never teach us in school this type of intelligence nor in college , it is EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE which is the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, discern between different feelings and label them appropriately

    In most cases we are hooked because fapping is the easiest way in short term to deal with problems or any strong emotions , we developped this automatic reaction which is happening each time , i will explain it , the emotions are our fuel in this life to move and make things and its impact is strong on our mind , so each time that we are experiencing an emotion it is like a heavy weight that we should manage in order to get an emotional stability , so we have two choice : fapping in order to hide it and feel the comfort in short term or try the hardest way and the best in long term by analyzing it and reacting in an appropriate manner.
    Let me give you some tips so you can improve your EI:
    1/start by learning as many word as possible to characterize different emotions that you are experiencing and not limitting your emotions like babies : happy angry hungry....
    2/self-awarness is your best friends , like they say"attack is the best form of defence " so you should make it as a habit to analyze your emotions during the day so you can detect some dangerous emotions and anticipate the waterfall of fapping
    3/write down on a paper the emotions that you are experiencing , than try to deal with those emotions like it was not yours , if you can make this your decision would be unbiased and you'll enhance your solution and take the best decision
    once you deal correctly with your emotions , the craves for fapping will remarkably decrease which soften the battle for your side

    I guess it makes sense, expecting too much from simply giving something up. There needs to be some other corrections made in your life other than the strength to give the addiction up.
