Overcoming lust

    I think one of my biggest difficulties in rebooting is being around (and lusting over) attractive women. I am a dancer so I'm around a lot of attractive women who often wear leggings and other revealing clothing which makes relapse all the more tempting. Any suggestions on how to curb these feelings?

    its actually the very simple fact, that you have trouble getting erection in their prescence, otherwise if you did you would simply have sex with them. because they would have sex with you

    you fear rejection simply because you are unable to obtain an erection because of social anxiety. your social anxiety is the result of being unable to become erect in their presence.

    I don't really agree with this. Like at all. Women don't just have sex with a man simply because the man gets an erection. That just sounds rather ridiculous. As does the idea that a lack of erection in the presence of a woman is due to social anxiety. Like it's not normal to walk around with a boner all day, if you do then maybe get that checked.

    I really hope you are trolling and these aren't your legit views because they are kinda concerning to me.

    Focus on what you wish to be most important in life and let that guide your thoughts & where your eyes go. If you want to get beyond lusting for women's bodies focus on what is most important in life to you and ruthlessly deny yourself thoughts about lust. In my case, I finally realized I want be a close friend of God and enjoy the benefits that come from a relationship like that as much more gratifying and uplifting than a relationship with lust. Remember, it is possible to control your eyes and your mind. When they stray, turn them to something else. Congratulations, by asking this question you are clearly on the right path, keep it up!
