Past vs. Present

I was thinking earlier about accomplished men of the past (inventors, writers, painters, composers, architects, generals) and about how the celibacy or abstinence from sexual activity of quite a few is well documented. For countless examples, look into books like Brain Gain by Danavir Goswami. Many of these men lived in times and societies that could not, in any way, be compared to the time and societies we live in today.

This is not to make an excuse for our collective weakness. If anything, I am here to praise those who are able to overcome the copious, often unavoidable temptations we are presented with on a daily basis. We are hyper-sexualized and sold sex, whether for money or our attention, at every turn. Before the last decade, never has any guy been able to see practically any modern girl of the West in lingerie on social media.

We have lost our way.

Our countries have been conquered, our cultures drastically altered and rampant degeneracy is a major indicator of our downfall.
