Picking myself back up...

    My journey here continues... I will begin a clean slate tonight.

    Over the past few weeks, I've been through several relapses. Especially through the month of April. The best way I can describe it is like "scar tissue". The years of P.M.O are so deeply rooted in the subconscious all it takes is one trigger to potentially set you off. It is important to stay humble, because you never know what you'll encounter.

    I'm going for 90 again the way I did to end off 2016. This time I will do an even more effective job than before. I've seen both sides of the spectrum vividly and I am able to learn from my mistakes, and my accomplishments.

    I've discovered most of my triggers are cued from scrolling thru social media (where I'm bound to see a P-sub). And my trigger to scroll thru social media is either a result of boredom, frustration, loneliness, or anxiety/impatience. Its become habitual.

    The idea here is to acknowledge the cue when it shows up and replace that routine (going on my phone) with something more productive. (i.e. meditation, cold shower, gym, a walk outside).

    Daily Tasks
    - Meditate daily
    - Cold shower daily
    - Eat my daily macro
    - Read daily
    - Gym 4 times per week
    - Visualize before bed
    - Get 5 new girls phone numbers (at the end of each month)


    I am going to set up a reward system for my compartmentalized goals.

    1 week without pmo = new book (the art of conversation)

    2 weeks without pmo = new shirt

    4 weeks without pmo = new pair of jeans

    6 weeks without pmo = new sneakers

    8 weeks without pmo = take my mom and my friends out for dinner (separately)

    10 weeks without pmo = new car

    12 weeks without pmo = leave both of my jobs and start a new chapter.

    I ask for strength from the most high to empower me and the strength from within to re-program my habitual patterns into constructive habits.

    I will check in here, and I will share a success story.

    Thank you for those who have supported me here - you help me keep my word and inspire me. I wish everyone more strength and more blessings.

    Hey man… sounds like you have really learned from your last relapse which is great… People have a choice after a relapse , you can feel sorry for yourself and let the chaser affect fuck you up with a few days of binging on P.

    Or you can learn from it and but a plan in place to go one better this time … You should take strength from take…

    Just one thing I would say to you is your point 5 - Get 5 new girls phone numbers (at the end of each month)???

    I know when everyone starts NOPMO we all start to feel our confidence grow which seems to make it easier to chatting to women…

    But at this early stage it might be better to just focus on yourself, all the women in the world are not going anywhere and will be there when you are finished working on yourself..

    From personal experience this is something that has caused me to relapse on previous attempts. I found that I would find myself fantasizing about the girls , which would lead me to getting horny and then P would hit me… I was the same with dating apps.

    Anyway just some advice not sure it applies here…. Best of luck man with the plan

    Woke up early with a wet dream ---> Relapsed several hours later. Starting back up. Going to take it day by day- I'm walking on egg shells right now. Main goal right now is a week. I will see it through and check back in.

    I'm just about to leave the house now to hang out with a girl and grab a bite. Seeking the light.

    Hey man …. I hope you are in a good place, don’t beat yourself up or let those negative voices get any louder and cause a binge rather than a relapse…

    We have all relapsed 100’s or 1000’s of times…. Just try pick yourself up and go again…

    Watch the chaser affect though, try not be on your own. We will not feel like it but try get out for a walk , meet a friend , lift some weights …. Just anything to clear the head….

    Any keep strong and if you need help and I can help let me know

    Thanks man, I appreciate that.

    Hung out with a girl an hour after my relapse. Felt like that was a good move to make. Usually after a relapse I lose my drive a bit and itshoots my confidence - it went well regardless. I went to the gym with a buddy afterwards, didnt have my best lifting session. Literally felt like I was missing strength.

    A little foggy right now, but I'll be in great shape soon just gotta keep pushing.
