PIED : porn ISN'T the problem and it IS the problem

Discussion in 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunctions' started by ExFetishist, Jun 20, 2020.

  1. Did you ever wonder why most men consume porn and don't develop PIED?

Well... I have a theory. The problem is that porn addiction leads to a decoupling of lust and sexuality. Porn addiction is REAL and it makes us go beyond our refractory period all the time, possibly over the course of years... Then sexuality becomes a COMPULSION and we don't ejaculate if our body actually tells us that it wants to but because we HAVE to.

The problem isn't even what type of porn you watch. If it is fetish related or else. But of course if you are into hardcore porn and have paraphilic tendencies then you are more likely to develop porn addiction.

I watched fetish related porn all the time when I was younger and I popped raging boners just from kissing and hugging a girl I liked. You see porn wasn't a compulsion back then and it was coupled to arousal.

  2. PIED doesn't affect everyone. Also some researches says the problem it's not about the hours of watching porn, but the intensity of experience.

Probably people with PIED enjoyed porn with more intensity than others.
