    Hey, I don’t know how to start this but, I just want to escape this cycle. I literally want to die everyday, I can’t stop watching porn. It’s affecting the way I see girls and people. I feel like it’s destroying me and I can’t get enough. Porn has also made me insecure about my self too. I literally can’t talk to a girl because I feel insecure about my self. I joined this forum to talk to people who broke free of the porn cycle and others who are suffering. Please give me any advice.

    Here are two things you can read to help you get started.

    This is a journey, not a race. It takes time, learning from each mistake you have, figuring out your triggers/behavioral patterns and setting up strategies to combat those.

    They key is to never give up. Journeys have a destination, in order to reach that destination you must keep driving or else you’ll never get there

    You wouldn’t stop half way on the road if you were heading to a vacation spot just because it was taking too long to get there.

    I don’t know if your religious, but praying helps tremendously. Regardless if you are or not, I will be or for you. Stay strong.

    Welcome to the community. A few tips, make a firm decision you are not going to look at P, sign in to the forum 2-3 times a day to read and interact with others in the same battle, make use of the "panic button", join a accountability group in the accountability section, start a journal in the under 20 section of the forum. Not saying you have to do all of this. Just some things that helped me.
