Has anyone improved their sperm quality after quitting PMO? My motility is pretty low.
Other than the extremely anecdotal evidence of people feeling virile through semen retention (biologically not a thing!), I haven't found anything yet to support the idea. There is some stuff on stress and anxiety and motility, and seeing as many people treat stress with porn, I'd imagine dealing with stress in healthier ways would help.
Oh, I am reminded, there is some evidence on sperm health declining, actually, through sperm retention as older sperm (we're talking 70+ day-old sperm) can actually damage newer or developing sperm - thus, why the body disposes of them in urine or nocturnal emissions. Can't recall the journal, sadly. If memory serves, some masturbation or sexual activity is recommended then.
