    It's that time of the month again - hello and welcome to the official signup thread for NoFap's PMO-Free February 2016!

    The purpose of this thread is to provide Fapstronauts with a place to share their commitment to abstaining from particular sexual behaviors throughout the entire month of February 2015. Although it is strongly recommended, posting in this thread is not required for participation.
    New to NoFap? Here are some suggestions:
    1. Learn about the website, porn addiction, excessive masturbation, and abstaining from PMO. Read through theforum to get informed.
    2. Decide if abstaining from PMO is something that you really want. If you don't buy into the process 100%, you'll probably not make it through the month. If you have decided that you would like to participate, proceed to step three.
    3. Sign up for this month by replying to this thread.
    4. Consider setting up a day counter to track your progress. Otherwise, there are a variety of phone applications and calendars available for crossing off how many days you've lasted.
    5. Create a Journal Thread and share your progress every day. Not only does this help you stay accountable, it documents valuable anecdotal evidence that will ultimately help other people going through similar situations in the future.
    6. Ask questions and get support by posting on NoFap. Come here every day and participate.
    7. Get an accountability partner.
    Would you like to participate? If so, please reply to this thread with the following information.
    • Are you not going to allow yourself to masturbate? View porn? Orgasm whatsoever? Not allowing any outlet for sexual release is called "hard mode".
    • How long do you want this challenge to last? By default it is one month, but 90 days is recommended for rebooting.
    • What are your goals?
    • Why are you doing this?
    Coming in after this month has already started?
    Don't panic - it is not a problem. Fapstronauts sign up for NoFap's events all months long. Just follow the instructions above and jump in at any time by replying to this thread.

    NoFap February has a nice sound to it. I'm in this.

    I recently moved out with my girlfriend of the past year. We decided I should leave to rediscover myself and to recover from my hardcore addiction to porn. I'm going make this month PMO free. If I get back with my GF it's okay for us to do it, but no cheap sex with random people.

    This won't be easy, but the most worthwhile things rarely are.

    I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become.

    After a rough beginning of January I was able to finally get started on my new, proper, streak. I am vowing to go the entire month of February pmo free. No looking back!

    I started a daily journal here on noFap just two days ago, but now I can't seem to find it. At any rate, the goal is still the same: quit once and for all. February is a start. Hard mode. Complete abstinence. So let's do Fap-Free February and I'll use that a milestone for my next 90-day challenge.

    My goal is to kick the habit once and for all. To master myself because I believe that inner strength is the truest strength.

    I'm doing this because I've used PMO as a crutch for too many years of my life. It was celebration, it was consolation, it ruined many of my relationships.

    I'm thankful this site exists (and if I were struggling financially myself, I would contribute to it). I'm finding my own ways though. Rest assured of that.

    Here's a Fap-Free February!

    Ready to try this month-long thing again. Two weeks is my record, but I need to build on the gains. In for a NoFap February, to celebrate being unbelievably sick and tired of not reaching my goals: quieter head, higher self-esteem, more focused life. Etcetera! Let's do this.
